Recommended bush cutter great little tool
I brought this bush cutter to sort out my garden and found this a great cutter easy to use and set up but I do find the harness hard to set up. It cut through my over grown garden like hot knife through butter, very pleased with it and recommend to anyone

Unfortunately not upto the job.
3 year warranty, great! Surely It'd last a long while. Unfortunately the first one was dead on arrival. It wouldn't run. All the basic stuff was checked as my customer frowned through the window at me. Gave up on it, used another tool (Oleo Mac 400t). Sent the item back for a refund, and was offered a replacement. I presumed it was a one off, so I went for the replacement, three year warranty, surely this will last. First use, started up fine, ran okay, throttle trigger a bit hard on the fingers compared to an Oleo or Stihl 131, but that's okay, this is much cheaper than both. Bramble attempted, seemed to be getting through it okay with a 2 blade oregon red mulcher blade, completed day 1 with only minor complaints. Day 2 however wasn't completed. I only took one tool with me, this one, as I thought it'd cope. A garage block had become over-run with bramble, less than 1cm thick, still quite spongey, still quite young. Worked the hyundai gently through it being careful not to use full throttle and also not overwhelming the blade. I had a stihl hedgecutter to pop "lanes" through to make access easier and clear out some flytipping. Unfortunately within 2 hours of getting there the brushcutter started making a high pitched whirring noise from the gearhead. I visually inspected it to make sure it hadn't become loose or drifted down the driveshaft, it appeared fine. I then went even easier on the tool and focussed mainly on the hedgetrimmer but unfortunately this wasn't enough for the Hyundai which lost all drive very quickly making it worthless.I honestly don't understand how they can put a three year warranty on such a tool. Unless I just became very unlucky twice in a row. My Oleo Mac 400s have been put through gruelling work since I bought them in October, £220 a piece. I've even cut an airfield of fairly established buddleia with them, great tools. My advice is spend more, and if you want split shafts I've heard good things of Stiga.

Pleased with my Hyundai 52cc Petrol Grass Strimmer Trimmer & Brush Cutter.
Generally pleased with my Hyundai 52cc Petrol Grass Strimmer & Brush Cutter . However it is heavy - even for a fit bloke - half an hour had my back aching. As said in other reviews it can take a lot of pulling to get it started. I do not blame the Hyundai machine for this I just feel that most petrol powered - motor boats, mowers, leaf blowers etc - are pigs to start.I needed it to cut down briers in a real wilderness of a garden so required something REALLY heavy duty. If you are doing something less demanding an electric powered model would be lighter and require less maintenance. Ideal for muscle bound blokes doing big jobs.

Awkward handles
I have seen loads of people staying they couldn’t start it, did they have the red button switched to the on position? Did they prime it with the little bubble to get the petrol through?I have a large garden and loads of trees and plants in need to go around. So I spend about an hour or so just using this before mowing. At first it’s great once you adjust the horn bars etc to balance it out and feel comfortable on the harness. There is one massive flaw tho, the trigger button that you have to hold in, is turned at a silly angle. I’ll try and explain, when I’m using it my wrist is bent at 90 degrees in towards the shaft of the machine, in order to hold the trigger button in. Which of course after a few minutes causes my finger and wrist to start hurting. The button should be pointing at 12 o’clock instead of the 10 o’clock it’s at. So my wrist is almost 90 degrees in able to wrap it around to get to the trigger. In the position it’s in now, the actual trigger button itself has a pointy corner and that also digging in my finger in order to keep it running. Also what would have been amazing is that it should have a button to lock the trigger button in place, because as I’m walking around I’m revving it up and down like a boy racer at a set of lights. It so annoying from my point of view and I used to make fun of others doing it, I used to shout stop revving it! Hold it in place! I fully regret that now as I have learnt it’s almost impossible. Ha ahOne more issue I have is putting it on the harness, I find that very fiddly and find myself almost laying on the floor clipping myself on to it and then struggling to stand up with it all running. Maybe a better design on that would really help. Also I can’t get the strimmer cutting line to come out when tapping it on the ground. I have to dismantle it and re wire it back through myself. Maybe it’s just me, I’m new to a petrol strimmer and I’m not fully confident using it yet as it’s massive compared to my old battery one.The machine it’s self is good, it starts first time every time. Be careful tho, the cable whips back into the machine and if you don’t let go quick enough it smashed you hand on the engine.Just a few niggles at I’d give it 5/5
