My favorite safety latches
No issues installing, have had them for almost 2 years and have only had 2 latches lose their adhesion. Both were high use cabinets and at a level our toddlers can reach so I don't blame the latches at all

Love it!
I love these baby proofing cabinet locks. The installation is easy but you need to make sure that you properly mark where you want it to go. Also, mock it to see how the cabinet opens so that way you are putting the lever in a spot that will stop the door from fully opening. The adhesive is very strong so you want to make sure you get it right. The adhesive will be more efficent if you clean the area before installing. The lock works great! As soon as it was installed my daughter tried opening it but couldn't so she left it alone lol. I'm so glad she won't be able to pull my supplies out of the cabinet anymore. My daughter is 8 months and walks with a walker. I'm not sure how well it will hold up once she's a toddler. Overall, it's a great product to have! I'm not sure how our parents did without these.Update: July 11, 2019A couple days ago, I needed something from the cabinet and went to open the the door and was able to pull it open without being stopped. The hook did not latch onto the stopper. The piece that's supposed hold the hook slid forward with the hook. It may have happened because it was 90 degrees that day and my house was pretty warm, so it may have been due to the weather.

Great idea but not for my drawers
I liked the idea of the adhesive so no screws was necessary, however they would not work for my drawers. I only have a thin place to apply and so my drawer wouldn't close and the child could still be able to get hand in the drawer. I even tried modifying one but that was not a successful attempt either. I ordered the magnetic ones to try instead hopefully I will have better luck with those. So buyer beware my home was built in 1996 and they simply will not work with my drawers.

great product
As an apartment dweller, I really appreciate that these can be used without adding holes to anything that I'll have to pay to replace later. The adhesive does have to sit 48 hours without being used if you aren't going to use screws to attach this product to your cabinets, but a little advanced planning and that shouldn't be a problem. The packaging gives recommendations in words and pictures of where to place the hook and the catch. It also recommends eucalyptus oil or rubber cement solvent to remove if needed. Will a determined toddler be able to defeat the lock - probably, but every child lock I've seen I've seen a kid defeat...sometimes more easily than I can, but in this case it is pretty easy for me, and it at least will slow down a kid if they try it. Obviously they are not a substitute for supervising the small people relying on you, but are a great tool to help mitigate risks.

Not For Fat Cats
My kitty recently taught himself how to open cabinet doors--specifically the one housing the cat treats. This resulted in me finding him in front of the cabinet with a bag of cat treats chewed open and its contents all but gone. Needing to employ some kind of lock to prevent him from achieving his dreams of becoming obese, I purchased these safety latches. Once they arrived, I cleaned the cabinet and made sure to hold the latch in place for a solid thirty seconds to adhere it. Soon enough it was time to let my fat cat test it out. Initially, the product was great! He would sit and 'thunk thunk thunk' away at the door while I looked on smugly knowing his days of engorging himself were over. Over time though the adhesive has worn down and after two months of inaccessible snacks my persistent tabby popped open the glorious cabinet and rewarded himself to a handful of tuna treats. Trying to apply a new latch onto the cabinet did not go so well and that latch quickly fell off, along with the hopes of keeping my kitty trim.

Easy installation! Work!
The media could not be loaded. So easy to install! No need for screws! If you pull crazy hard they will come off. So if an adult were to really yank on it they will come unstuck. But for a baby they are perfect! I love how no screws were involved!

Versatile, good to have on hand!
These can also be used inside dresser drawers to discourage climbing inside drawers. You should still use wall anchors if you are trying to prevent tipping furniture. One thing to note is that they can un-stick with enough force, but probably not enough force from a toddler.

Plastic too stiff: breaks easily
I tried this brand when 4 Safety First latches snapped off. Same problem with these. I used drawer latches when my kids were small and the plastic was more flexible.
