Kasugai Muskmelon Hard Candy

Taste good. Everyone loves these!

Perfect! Sadly, sweet tastes just like the fruit, better than I expected. My new favorite candy, each piece last about half an hour. One of those candies iou don't wanna try to bite in half.

The hard candy was very tasty, only wish there were more pieces in the bag.

Great tasting candy. The Chinese restaurant had some of these out. Once I tried it, I have not stop buying it

I decided to buy these cause they were on special at the time, I think 4 something instead of the usual 6 something, at the time of this review. I had wanted to get the Kasugai gummies but they're still too pricey, so I saw these hard candies from the same brand. Decided to give them a go. They're nice, round, smooth hard candies. They're single candies and are wrapped individually. The wrapper has a cute melon on it so it makes it look like the candy itself has the melon design/print on it. For me, personally, I love them! The taste isn't subtle at all. You get the meon flavour. It's almost as if you're eating the actual melon itself, albeit with added sugar. That being said, for me, it's a tiiinny but too sweet for me. Mostly when you bite it too soon. If I suck it till it's basically nothing then it's not too sweet. But again, this is my personal taste and my taste buds. So for some, this might not be that sweet, for others it might be a little too sweet. And then for the rest it's the perfect balance. I say if I don't bite it too soon, then I'm in the "it's a perfect balance" bracket. I even shared with two of my coworkers so far, and they loved them too. I shouls have counted how many came in the bag.. I have 13 left, gave 4 to coworkers (2 each) and I probably ate at least 4 or 5 already so maybe gives about 20-ish candies. A decent amount for the discounted price. Probably will only buy this when it's under 5, cause it's good but not $6+ good. If you're a fan of melon I say definitely buy this at least once in your life!

Delicious, and very fruity. The flavor is very unique and was a big hit with my family.
