History of the U-Boat Fleet in WW2
An outstanding book with an overall history of the German U-boat fleet in WW2 along with detailed sections on several noteworthy U-boats and their exploits and several of the major U-boat and flotilla commanders. Also possessed of differences in U-boat types even within the same class. All in all a very worthwhile book.

Good particulars
OK this is a special interest book. Definitely not for everyone. Great for anyone interested in the subject though. This is a very interesting and well researched book. It is a great source of the order of battle for U-boats. It also contains good in formation on the success and fates of individual boats. I enjoyed it and will definitely keep it as a reference.

The Definitive Guide to U-boats in WWII
Never seen a U-Boat book like this. The book breaks down individual boats by unit, with an incredible amount of history and information written about each boat. This is the definitive guide to U-Boats in the second World War.

Good Book
A fairly complete look at German submarines during WW II. A modeller or historian will be left needing more, but it is a good start fot the modeller or historian. Include it in your library.

Very messy work.
This book is ok if you can forgive the mistakes. Like the first page I opened the book had a photo of Admiral Doenitz and Albert Speer with the caption reading "...and Albert Speer, Minister of Propaganda." I thought that was pretty big mistake. Its either no one proof read it or the authors had no interest in the subject. Art work is good but it makes you wonder how accurate it is... Like I said it's ok but if you like reading historically accurate books don't buy this. I really wanted to like this!
