Washers arrived quickly, and good quality, probably a bit pricey but they done the job they were intended for, so no more dripping taps, I'm a happy chappie!!

Too tight a fit and ‘on’ is ‘off’!
Measurements and splines all exactly right but original handles needed heavy mallet to get them on they were so tight. Then once on I discovered they worked in the opposite direction to the previous inserts, and were not nearly as convenient. Couldn’t turn taps on with wrist to wash dirty hands. (No. I didn’t put wrong insert in each tap.) could reverse inserts but likely to break handles off so have to live with it.

Easy fix, saved me from calling a plumber
Used this to fix a leak in a shattaf/dusche sprayer. Simply unscrewed the old one and inserted the new one and job done. No more dripping! I would recommend checking this is the correct replacement by measuring your existing one first as there are many sizes on the market.

May not be a matching pair!
My cold tap was dripping and so that needed a replacement. Two valves for the price of one - what a bargain; I may as well replace both valves as it's likely that the other one is due to fail.The problem is that the valves are not identical. On initial visual inspection they appeared to be identical but after installation the tap lever on one of the replacements was slipping and wasn't gripping the bezeled head correctly i.e. I could turn the tap on but not off as the lever slipped. Swapping the tap levers didn't cure the problem and the slipping tap lever was fine on the other valve. A micrometer revealed that the problematic valve bezel had a slightly smaller diameter than the other hence the slippage; it was also slightly shorter than the the other one.Wrapping some PTFE tape around the smaller valve bezel has resolved the issue but I had to buy PTFE tape and a spacer washer and (pack of 20) to work around the problem.
