Just a few minutes in water, weather you cleaning them word leaving them in the water while you paint with the others, they soak up water real quick and it ruins their finish.... the wood inside is rattling inside the cracked casing now.The brush part works, I put rubber bands around the holding part just to stop the rattling and improve my accuracy.

Was so excited to get these to do little details. At first they were perfect but after just one use the brush did not hold its shape and did not do the small lines I needed. Bummer. You have to put paint on and let it dry a bit to hold it together.

These work excellent for fine detail in painting. The very top is a bit hard to get the paint out of on the tiny brushes but it doesn't affect the end result. Get these if you need those fine, sharp lines or details!

I got these to paint miniatures with. They do the job. I primarily used the size 00, 0, 1, 2. They held good tips. The larger brushes I didn’t use as much, but will be useful sometime in the future.Some of the brushes are ambiguous. The differences between the 4/0, 3/0 and 2/0 are negligible. But good news is they have decent bellies.These brushes will serve you well if you keep up on cleaning. For the price. They are worth the buy.

Perfect for what i needed

Great set of brushes for my paint by number art! Love the set comes with a few slanted brushes and quite a few “slim” brushes fir fine detail work.

However there was one thing that I was still able to do. Paint. I've been unable to enjoy tv, films, books or podcasts because of lack of conentration, but I have been able to get into the 'flow' with painting. For some reason it required little no thinking and i don't feel like an absolute idiot. Nothing big, fancy or canvas based - that would require too much energy. Something small that I wanted to decorate the house with. A cat mask.I was getting really frustrated with my brushes, even brought in my nail art tools but I was unable to get the details that I wanted for this. I looked at Amazon and found these brushes, thinking they were overpriced. I was wrong. They're worth every penny.This mask is a good visual for showcasing what detail I can get into by hand. Great brushes. Just right for detail. Can stand a cleaning. I’m using oil paint, but I’m sure they’re as good for acrylics and watercolour

Fantastic buy. Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. Great handle with no loose hairs. He's been quietly painting his miniature figures in detail ever since. If you're not sure which brushes to buy give these a punt. Well worth the money.

Very good quality brushes! I could easily see that the minute I opened them, even before giving them a good feel. Nicely made, and hold the paint well. I paint using acrylics and all my brushes take a bit of a battering! I've only used a couple so far. Great, perfect for me. Although the smallest tip is not the smallest you can buy, that's ok. I'm wondering if I can get the same make with a teensy tip. I'm painting on canvas, and use different brushes, but these are by far the best detail brushes I've used in terms of quality. So yes will order again

I have bought a fair number of brushes over the years, partly because brushes decay over time, and partly because I'm always on the look out for brushes that make my life a little bit easier. I dislike having to cut brushes to match the task I require it for, so it's always nice to find a set that offers what I need.These are nicely made and designed. I've not yet had any of the bristles come astray from the head. The head is a decent chromed metal and crimped nicely onto the bristles and shaft. The shaft appears to be plastic rather than wood, but this doesn't detract from them being comfortable or good brushes. The triangular section near the head is smooth with curved intersections so very comfortable to hold and easy to get three fingers around for stability. The range of heads covers a variety of uses, and the fine brushes are small enough to meet most tasks for detailing models.As with any brush, careful cleaning and making sure the head is not swamped with paint helps a lot to extend their lifespan.Manufacturing is good, with clean lines and no rough edges. The long head and wide grip make these a joy to use. I have reduced flexibility in my fingers, so some of the narrow shaft brushes available are difficult for me to use. These brushes are very different in that respect. The grip is actually quite large so much easier for me to hold and grip. I should imagine they would be suitable for arthritis sufferers who can no longer close their fingers tightly.The long head and long shaft mean you have plenty of space to work with, and allow painting without getting your hand too close to the subject. This can take a bit of getting used to for people used to shorter brushes, but once over that step these are excellent brushes.Worth the money in my opinion because of their design and quality.
