Fit’s good and does the job

I bought the Ozonics and it came with the standard battery. This battery seems to have a roughly 3 hour life when the unit is set for high output. That's not long enough for most hunting sits. I then bought the XL battery and so far it hasn't run out of charge while I've been on stand. The longest time so far has been 4.5 hours and it had plenty of charge left when I shut it off and it was on high output mode. If you plan on long sits you need this battery if you want to run the Ozonics the entire time.

This battery greatly extends the usefulness of the unit

I may have gotten the best one in the pile because it ran for 5 hours straight in the morning hunt and then 3 hours straight in the evening hunt and still had power. I will try it again later in the season but if this is typical it is better than advertised. UPDATE: 2016 - This was the 3rd hunting season for this battery and nothing has changed. It ran for 7 hours straight and still had charge left. It took about 2.5 - 3 hours to fully charge from that drain off but was ready for the next day hunt.

Pricy for a battery. But they designed it so your stuck with there battery. I found having a second 8 hr helps along with tge 4 hr it comes with. Four star because of price.

The battery is exactly as described. It does last approximately 6 hours in a tree stand application. It also takes approximately the same amount of time to recharge it. The service was world-class. Needed it sooner than the original shipping availability so the seller sent it express with no additional charge. OUTSTANDING!!

This lasts way longer than the battery that comes with the Ozonics. I can do dark to dark sits and still have some left. Between this and the battery that came with I can easily do back to back dark to dark sits without charging them.

These extended life batteries are so much better than the original battery that came with the unit. Had it working at -10 C no problems for most of the day with power to spare. The original battery didn't last more than 2.5 hrs. Buy the extended life you won't be caught short while in the bush!
