I use this runner to protect the surface of a cabinet I have in my bathroom that I am using for extra storage. I like to light candles in the bathroom and I just replaced the same runner with this new one and there were no marks or blemishes on the surface despite the candles, as well as my two Grandsons toothbrushes, toothpaste, and various other substances that my they might get on it.

I bought the runner and two sets of placemats. They are the best placemats I have bought so far.Please ignore the negative reviews. No one buys placemat to pour food onto. The bamboo is interwoven with thread but it should be easy to clean with a wet sponge if neededIts a work of art. Classy

Nice Runner but make sure you measure before you buy

It says includes “Table Runners 108 In, Placemats Set of 4 for Kitchen Table” but arrived with no placemats.

I was very disappointed by the false advertising. The listing clearly stated that the table runner came with four matching placemats, it did not. It makes you feel cheated.
