These are my first pair of bike shorts. Bought them so I can start doing longer rides on my Peloton. That seat is fine for a 45-minute class, but now I'm doing 1-2+ hour rides and the padded seat cover wasn't doing it for me. Bought these Louis Garneau shorts, along with a couple Terry (shorts and capris) and Pearl Izumi shorts. Love the Garneau and Terry - very similar to each other comfort and look wise. I followed the sizing recommendations on the listing and these are true to size. They felt great as I rode - the top and the bottom bands compress lightly to stay in place without making a muffin top. And they wash and (hang) dry quickly. Recommend!

I have been riding for 3 years now. When I purchased my other pair of shorts I was not sure what I was looking for at the time. I bought a thick pad thinking I needed more protection for my area! But that added more pressure and it would press on my nerve and cause more soreness and pain. I did a lot of research this time and read a lot of reviews on padding in cycling shorts. The LG's got great reviews for Gearlab and so I went on their recommendation. I am so pleased with there shorts. They fell like skin the pads are perfect, they don't hit pressure points and the ride is very comfortable. My first ride in these shorts I did 20 miles in complete comfort! Totally recommend them.

Nice shorts... for years I wore Sugoi RS, not the shorty, but have been unable to find a style that is comparable to them and I could not get a response from Sugoi when I reached-out to them for a recommendation and then I found these and I actually like them better!I just did a 53 mile ride and they were very comfortable and they look good!

These shorts are insanely comfy on 2+ hour rides. I’ve not worn these in super long rides, so I can’t vouch for that. The fabric is so soft and cool. I’m still trying to reconcile how comfy these shorts are with their price. In the meantime I bought a second pair.

Bike shorts are ugly in general, this is no exception. They work well enough for 50 mile bike ride, good support for your lady bits, a little long and larger than expected. But for $50, next time I"ll just cough up the extra $15 for a better quality brand.

The LG cycling shorts is the most comfortable fit and quality chamois in its price range. I tried on a lot of shorts at the store and read reviews before buying this, and this is the best fitting shorts among all.

I guess I didn't understand in the description how lightweight the padding was for these bike shorts. I was looking for something with super duty cushioning for long bike rides. These had great reviews and a great price. These were comfortable and fit well (5'1" 105 lbs) but just not what I was looking for so I returned them. I tend to get super sore and uncomfortable on my road bike and want to be able to ride for 4+ hrs comfortably.

Very comfortable and good length. I could have probably gone down one size - if you like snug fit, then consider. I generally wear size 6-8 pants and ordered a Small. Padding is sufficient for longer rides (> 10 miles). Delivered on time in perfect condition.
