It works well for my eczema prone skinned lips and make them feel so hydrated. This will last a long time on your lips and isn’t irritating at all. Make my lips feel so good.

Bought this because my lips and cuticles were staging a protest; now they’ve signed a peace treaty. The salve is thick, luxurious, and suspiciously effective. one swipe and my lips go from Sahara to spa day. The rose scent is classy, not perfume-counter aggressive, so you can apply it in public without announcing your skincare routine to strangers. Yes, it’s pricey, but consider it a tiny luxury tax for not looking like a cracked leather wallet. Five stars for performance, one slightly reluctant nod for the price, would buy again when my dignity (and dry skin) demand it.

My lips get so dry and icky feeling in the cold months, and I HATE almost every lip treatment out there. I decided to give this a try and it’s AMAZING! My lips feel amazing, doesn’t leave a sticky or gross tasting reside, and I can use it on any dry patches on my skin from eczema that also flair up in the cold months. My only wish, for my husband who also likes it, is it wasn’t so shiny. He just uses it at night, I have purchased 6 tubes for myself so I have it wherever I am!

i want to be the first to say that it smells like cabbage patch dolls. it smells like chocolate too if you think about it. the texture is not like a gloss but an oil and these made my lips look bigger temporarily when i left it on over night. the only con is it taste like liquid plastic when it gets in your mouth but it’s so worth it. also i would say this gives better softness than laneige lip mask.

I breakout easily around my lips, and needed to find a moisturizing lip balm or salve that would not add to that. I hadn't used CO Bigelow in decades, but remembered how much I liked it. The ingredients are not irritating or pore clogging. The subtle rosy color is natural but noticeable. I am light-brown skinned with neutral to yellow undertones. The balm is soft. It doesn't wear off quickly but I do find I need to reapply throughout the day. I have drier lips (but not chapped) so I usually apply in the morning, midday, and at bedtime. I wear it easily under lipstick or gloss, including matte colors. I have also applied it over lipstick, and haven't had any trouble.

I worked for Bath & Body Works for years and will swear by this. I don’t like BBW most products, but C.O. Bigelow (BBW partners) Rose Salve is the best lip moisturizer. It usually also comes in a nice tin (harder to use). This is perfect for for elbows, knuckles, and cuticles also.
