Endless Sparkle: 12 Crystal Components - Unlimited Jewelry Designs

I buy a lot of bead books for ideas and inspiration and this is one I've come back to a lot.The book is split into two sections: Crystal Components and Finished Jewelery.The first section show how to weave crystals and beads together to create components, small woven shapes, and the second section gives ideas for jewelry using the components, either as focal points or woven together.Most of the components are made from crystal bicones and seed beads. The author frequently takes advantage of the right angle weave stitch which bicones are ideally suited for. There are some components which use round crystals or crystal pearls. Most of the components have instructions for size variation.The weaving diagrams are very easy to follow. In fact, the diagrams are so clear, you can just follow along visually and don't even need to read the text in order to recreate the components.I found that this book is great for inspiration. While there are specific projects to create in the book, it is primarily written to teach how to make some basic bead weaving shapes and put them together in different ways. With that basic foundation, there is an infinite number of things to make.This is a great book for anyone who loves working with crystals and wants to try some basic bead weaving with them. I highly recommend it.

What an awesome little book! I purchased this used on a whim since it was so cheap and wasnt expecting much. Being that I have been beading for quite a few years, I have seen many beading books come and go. I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised with this one! Many beautiful designs within that can be easily altered to suit your taste. Diagrams are easy to follow as are the written instructions. Even experienced beaders will enjoy this one! And seriously who doesn't love crystals?!

This is one of the best beading books using beadweaving techniques with Swarovski Crystals. The book begins with simple patterns, advancing to more complicated motifs. The second part of the book uses the motifs to make focal designs for necklaces, as well as rings, bracelets and earings.Advantages: Elegant designs with themes for complete sets of jewelry, alternate colors and beads are shown, illustrations are superb.Disadvantages: None, except finding the time to make more and more patterns.Conclusion: If you love working with crystals, THIS IS THE BOOK!

i love this book so much, i checked it out from library so many times, that it was just sensible that i buy it.. so many new designs come from the ones listed, if i could find a way to thank the author i would write her. no matter what i make, it is easy with this book, even beginners could make sense of it, and us more advance Beaders, can find new ways to make.. i love being able to make sized rings, not that stretchy type.. very elegant

I am an intermediate beader, and it is very important to me that the instructions/illustrations are easy to understand and to follow. Sometimes things do not have to be very complicated to be pretty! This book meets my expectations: relatively easy projects, easy-to-follow instructions, plenty of components that you can learn to do and use where you see fit. I used a few components in my projects already. Very pleased.

This is a very versatile book with Endless possibilities! The author gives directions for 2 different sizes for most "components", color schemes are just your Creativity and the "components" can be put together for different looks! If you are handy with needle and thread I believe a beading/jewelry novice can make these pieces. The beading diagrams are very good and have good thread path arrows.Enjoy!!!

The patterns are easy to follow and the illustrations are beautiful.

I'm attracted to simple, delicate, sparkly designs and this book has directions for 12 beautiful crystal componets that can be combined in unlimited ways. This book reminds me of a Japanese beading book but with easier to follow directions. I just received the book and have not had the chance to make anything yet but the directions are large, colorful and look easy to follow. So often beading books only have a few designs in each one that I'm inspired to try but this is one of those books that make me want to try every project in it!

I was intrigued by this book which is why I purchased it, because I wanted to get into bead stitching and using crystals. However, even though the instructions are very good and easy to follow, with lots of diagrams, upon attempting to make some of the designs I was disappointed. Most of the designs are very small and delicate and some do not sit well once made. I realise I'm a beginner to bead stitching and perhaps this does impact upon the finished item, but the designs are not to my taste. Also, having made the component, although the author says it can be made into beautiful jewellery, the instructions for this are not very good and rely on personal experience in bead stitching to figure out 'how to'. I also thought that once made, the components looked cheap. I did make a couple of rings that looked OK but this book will not be one I keep going back to and I may very well sell it.

I love this book!! It has so many ideas that you can put together as shown or make your own by mixing them.

Simple but effective and stylish patterns. Not too difficult so earrings take shape quickly so the designs are great gifts,
