These beans were purchased for our daily use. At this price and volume it’s great value. The description doesn’t note the varietal but states on the bag that it’s a Castillo single origin Colombian. I prefer the caturra but don’t mind Castillo. Roast this at a weekly small batch for a week’s use so as to keep the coffee fresh. We like our manual coffee extractions and typically make coffee using a French press, v60 or an aeropress. This coffee shines every time and despite inconsistencies in our method. The beans itself were beautiful and had that distinct fresh odor out of the bag. The packaging for this product was also stellar. Beautiful beans and that makes even more beautiful coffee. Recommended and will definitely buy again!

I really don’t like giving such a bad review, but I am hesitant to open the package of coffee beans. Just want to get your attention.Delivery box was intact and padded with bubble padding. The package inside is concerning. I can’t remember how my last bag of coffee beans arrived (zip lock bag or paper bag-really think it was a zip lock bag), but this bag is questionable. It is so wrinkled I can’t even tell if there are small tears in the bag. Would like to contact the company, but I don’t see any means to do so. For the price of the beans, I think packaging should be better. If you will contact me, I hope we can come to a solution.

This is the worst tasting coffee I have ever purchased. I've been roasting my own coffee for many years. No matter what origin or what vendor I have used I've always been able to find a roast level that would at least produce a drinkable cup...until now. This coffee is nasty at every level. The flavor is so off I can't even describe it. First time ever after spending a good part of the day trying different roasting methods I tossed the entire 5lb bag.

Rediscovered an 18-year-old little coffee roaster in the back of a cabinet and purchased these beans to try it out. The roasted coffee turned out perfectly and it is probably the most delicious coffee I've ever tasted. I roasted the beans to a nice toasty brown and let them outgas in a little canister overnight before brewing with a French press. The coffee is not bitter, luxurious chocolate overtones, seems like it has a good kick of caffeine. The green beans appear to be very fresh, uniform in size and quality, and result in exceptionally delicious roasted beans.

To me this coffee was a two star rating. We've bought other unroasted (green) coffee beans and roasted them ourselves. Could it be the way I roasted it? Possibly, though we've never disliked any of the other coffee we've roasted. I tried this coffee mostly because of inflation; the one we have been getting has gotten more expensive. But, in some cases, you really do get what you pay for. My husband likens this to diner quality (e.g. IHOP or Denny's).

The media could not be loaded.  My NAYA green coffee bean order was quickly sent and arrived 2-weeks early!!When I roasted the first batch, the quality was apparent: even sized beans, predictable roast time...no white beans at the end of the roast. The scent and flavor developed beautifully in the hours to come!( Me gustan estos granos de café. Compraré más. Gracias. )

This coffee is simply amazing. The beans are so fresh, and after roasting they glisten with the released oils. Simply grinding them fills the kitchen with the most wonderful aroma.Discovering these beans reminded me of the experience of the first beer I had when I visited Bavaria. These beans, like that beer, have redefined what coffee can be.

This truly is some gourmet coffee. I always wanted to try roasting my own coffee, and the beans are a nice size and look flawless. No bitterness, just a nice deep chocolatey creamy body, and all the right flavors. Amazing for a single estate farm.I will definitely order from Naya again. Shipping was fast too.
