Worth it.
Works great, good texture and shape. Widens thumb grip so that's a plus.

Fits, Stays On, and Helps with Aiming - Recommended
I got the black version, and am only using the long, concave (dished out top) version, on the right thumbstick. The idea was to get more "throw" of the joystick to improve shooting accuracy (I play mostly Ghost Recon Wildlands). The left "movement" Joystick did not need more accuracy or sensitivity, so I didn't put anything on it, even a short extender from this kit (though I might try one later). It is not too tall to be comfortable, and does seem to allow better fine control of aiming. In the game's controller setup I've increased the speed of "Look" and "Aiming", and may increase them further, as the longer stick allows better fine control near the center, which then allows more rapid movement at the extremes. On this game, I have the "Dead Zone" set to zero, and there is no drift. Some people have complained of these coming off. I don't think I will have that problem. I put mine on the controller that came with my Xbox One X console. I had been using it for over a year, not playing every day or intensely, and it had a bit of "grease" and "wax" from my fingers in the groves at the top of the joystick, but no physical damage at all. I cleaned it carefully with damp and dry paper towels until it appeared clean and grease-free, than pushed on the extender. I tilted and pushed it on from one side to try to get the extender to cup down over the top of the joystick, but it did not immediately do this completely. Squeezing the extender repeatedly in different spots near the bottom, wiggling a bit and poking with a small dull tool eventually got the extender to cup down symmetrically all around the top of the Joystick, which required examining under good light to verify. You should see the extender cupping down evenly all around, nearly touching the thin stick underneath the broad round joystick top. I suspect that some people did not get the extender down fully gripping the joystick top, and part of it was jammed up on top of the joystick, hidden, looking OK, but not fully installed. Either that or there are variations in some production lots, or perhaps in the Xbox One joystick heads in different eras of joysticks. It is very stable and has shown no tendency to shift around or slip during game play, including when "going to the rail", or pushing down to "click the stick". I expect it will last a good while, and because I only used one, I have a replacement ready to install if this one gets loose. It is not heavy enough to make the joystick feel sluggish, or to move unpredictably if the thumb is removed briefly to hit a button (I don't hold my controller with the "claw" style grip).Only thing that gave me pause: While the packaging is quite nice - a small sealed plastic bag with a "Ziplock"-style reclosure - it did not mention Xbox One (or any other console controller type). No problem, it fit fine. A nice feature of the package: you tear off a strip to open it the first time, so you know you are getting a factory-fresh set, and not a return.

Two Years Update
Good value. Really easy to put on. The rubber is a lot harder than I had hoped. It isn't bad, I just wanted something a little squishier. Works as intended. Adds a bit of cushion to your analog stick and the thicker ones also increase height and can even improve accuracy in some games. Although the thick ones tend to block your left thumb from hitting some of the buttons, especially the Back button. Will also prevent wear on your controllers analogs or give you a surface to interface with on analogs rubbed down to bear plastic. Not bad, but not the soft type of rubber.Update:I’ve been using these for two years. I added a pic of the ones I’ve been using. This set is two years old. I’m retiring them now and putting on a new set. It’s overdue actually. The fit when they’re new is pretty good. I have another X1 controller I put these on I don’t use very often and the fit is still tight. The worn ones are pretty lose. They do occasionally fall off if I bump into them from the side. But they never fall off when I’m gaming. You can see the nubs are mostly worn completely down. The funny thing, in my original review i mentioned wishing they were squishier. Once they get old and worn out, they’re pretty squishy.I don’t like the big ones. After playing with them for a bit I decided I have no use for them. The one problem with these worn out analog covers is if your fingers are greasy, they get slippery because the nubs are worn off. Of course you can just wipe it off with your shirt. The best thing about these, aside from the additional grip they provide, is my controllers still look brand new, even though it has hundreds of hours of use on it. And I don’t have to open the controller to put on a new set. Whereas, new analogs would require the skill, knowledge, and confidence to open your controller and replace parts. I’ve done it, and I hate working on controllers. They’re too easy to brake or lose parts, especially the little springs on the triggers.I’d give 5 stars, but the big ones are a waste of money for me. I bought another set, because the fitment is perfect and the durability is excellent.

Just as good as Kontrol Freeks, half the price!
I had placed an order with control freeks, and for whatever reason my address reverted to my old address at checkout. I didn’t catch it on time but emailed them immediately. Customer service was of no help never responded until after the package was shipped. Therefore there was no way to fix it. Disputed with the bank got the money back thankfully. Decided to search Amazon for a new product and found this. Was a little bit skeptical but for $10 I could not pass it up. Received it today and it comes with two shorts and two long sticks. So you get a total of four stick extensions , but they mimic either the concave Xbox concave style or the rounded top of a PlayStation. As you can see in my photo I use the short concave on my movement and the rounded top for my heightened aim. Been playing with it for about four hours now and I must say they were just as well as a control freek. Seems to be good quality so far no issues. Highly recommended and kontrol freeks will never see my business again.

update 4 and a half years later
First and foremost, these are the best sticks you will ever buy. I have put on 7000+ hours of gameplay since I bought them, and I am still on the first two I initially started with. They have outlasted three controllers and still have shown no signs of wear. Every little ridge they come with is still just as it was when I got it, I saw another review after 2 years showing strong wear, and I guess that guy plays more than me because, again, 7000+ hours, and mine look nearly identical to when I got them. I use Xbox controllers, but they also fit on my PlayStation controllers just fine, so that is not a concern. In summary, this review is long overdue, and the only thing I have to say is, ditch the kontrol freeks that only last 2 months before completely falling apart; these will last a lifetime.
