Review for Newbies and for Swimmers
WHAT IS THIS STUFF? This is like a Band Aid - it's a strip of cotton with elastic and it has adhesive on one side. It's meant to stabilize injuries, reduce swelling, and keep you moving. I swim and surf but never used this product until swimmer's shoulder, tendonopathy, and lower back pain left me unable to remain active. Plain athletic tape has no stretch - you can't move. There are no scientific studies on this kinesio tape, but many people swear by it. WILL THIS HELP WITH MY ______ PAIN? The biggest problem is when people attempt to use this without any guidance from a professional. I didn't consult my doctor, read directions fully, applied it wrong, etc... It'll be most beneficial with medical input on proper use. Unfortunately, the instruction leaflet encourages you to DIY. If you want to know if it's the best choice for your situation and how to really use it then please ask your doctor. It has helped my lower back pain a lot - my LMT applied it during a session. HOW LONG WILL IT STAY ON? After some kick drills in the pool aggravated my tendon, I then taped my foot with standard KT brand tape with excellent results. Experienced with taping my feet (former dancer), I felt confident. The tape stayed on for about 2 days outside the pool, through showers, and was removed without issue. When attempting to tape my shoulder (no experience) with RockTape the result was ripped skin which kept me out of the water. While it was on it didn't come off during 2 hour swim sessions and showering. My shoulder felt good. KT BRAND OR ROCKTAPE? If you want something that wont stay on too long and feel like you can't live with a temporary cast of sorts, then KT is a good option. I didn't try KT in the pool and it was off in a few days on it's own. If you want something on at least 5 days and will be in the water, RockTape H2O is what you want. Even pro surfers use it. There's a difference in adhesiveness and elasticity. KT has their logo is on each strip but the strips are pre-cut. RockTape doesn't have a logo but expects you to cut your own strips and round off your own corners which is a waste of product. TIPS: Poor application resulted in painful pustules on my shoulder, so please get someone to help you put it on and take it off smoothly. Apply it wrong and it comes off faster. Kinesio tape can be found in a smaller size at Bed Bath Beyond with a 20% coupon if you want to try some without paying full price. For full size products, Amazon pricing is competitive.

Saved my golf season!
Summer 2021, around July, I began having an issue with my left hand (right handed) while playing golf. After medical review, I was told it was a type of tendonitis which could only truly heal if I let the hand rest 4-6 weeks. Well, that wasn't in the cards for this amateur tournament player so I took advantage of the offer for physical therapy. Long story short, after one visit, I left with a couple of samples of Rock Tape and learned how to partially wrap my hand. After 2 successful rounds with reduced pain, I purchased it on Amazon. I cut it in half lengthwise to create 1"x16" strips, and 10+ rounds later, with only adding a different glove type to help reduce grip pressure (Bionic - which I recognize helped as well, but didn't make as much of a difference after experimenting with regular gloves too), I noticed the pain had disappeared! I kept wrapping before each round but eventually realized I didn't need to anymore. Keeping that specific tendon in place with Rock Tape allowed me to avoid missing tournaments and casual play during our limited season here in Colorado. Highly recommend!

Does not cas
This is one of the few K tape that I can use. The tape they were using at physical therapy was causing my skin to blister and come off. Rock Tape is my go to tape. It sticks better and now reaction to my skin.

Absolutely essential in helping performance & injury recovery
Great tape that does it's job. Helps greatly in injury recovery and prevention. I like the tape and has helped me recover several times. It is slightly high in cost but not really a better alternative. The tape can last for several days, but does tend to curl on edges if not applied with a lot of patience and care. Tape will hold through several showers but again the ends will start to curl from water but it is a good product and recommend you try it. I have used for rotator cuff and bicep tendon injuries and it work really well

Hard to pull off backing....No flesh color
Loved the tape except for trying to pull it off the backing. If you don't get it right then that edge won't stick and last on your skin as long. Also they need to off it in flesh color!!! Tried another brand but will go back to Rock Tape. The other brand was pre-cut (you end up wasting, and although thicker it wasn't more support and did not last as long with pool use).

Simply Amazing!!!
This is my 1st time using Rock tape and I was hesitating because of my experience with KT tape. I would go through a roll of KT tape in a week because after the 1st workout it would peel. Then I bought the sticky spray which cause skin irritation. I tried so many knee braces but it didn't give me the flexibility I wanted. Heard of Rock Tape before, I didn't want to cut the tape manually lol. Hence why I never bought it ( pure laziness lol). Received it and had to do an Insanity workout which KT Tape would fall after the workout. I wear jogging pants which accelerated it peeling. I was amazed after my Insanity workout....I was still intacted!!!!! I did 4 Insanity workouts and showered. It's still intact plus wearing jeans!!!. I would give Rock Tape 10 stars. My daughter runs track and always complained about her calves. I experimented and taped only 1 calf. I didn't tell her why I was doing it. She came home from practice and said "daddy what did you do to my leg??my calf doesn't hurt". Thanks Rock Tape!!! Excuse my grammar..typing on my tablet.

Not as good as KT tape
We decided to give this a try after using KT pro extreme. Unfortunately this tape does not stick as well as I feel like it should for been “ H2O extreme”. We have had to use tuff skin spray to keep it on my daughters knee during practice. She is a gymnast and injured her knee and feels no effects from this tape as compared to the KT pro extreme when taped the exact same way by the same person. We won’t be buying this again and are going back to KT tape. It just has better elasticity and adhesion.

Ich hätte mir noch mehr Klebekraft erwartet, aber das Tape ist schon in Ordnung.

Holds well for days, may peel a little around the edges but nothing an adhesive spray can't help. Flexible and breathable

Perfecta para uso en el agua, aguanta 10 días mas o menos si la fijas bien.
