My wife used it to squeeze a couple lemons. She said it was very easy to use and it squeezed a lot more juice from those lemons than anything else she used. It's very well made and also very nice looking. It came nicely packaged, just like the picture.

This might be a fine juicer for someone who squeezes citrus occasionally for a recipe. I make cocktails a a home hobby and juice about a dozen lemons and limes a week. I've found this juicer to be completely inadequate. The long handles are great and let you get a lot of leverage, but the material is too soft. The bowl of the juicer has gone oblong as it has bent out of shape with use. I tried bending it back and the material on the backside cracked, creating a dangerous edge. Additionally, the finish on the press section is wearing.This was bought as a Christmas present in 2015 specifically for the food reviews, but after only 60 days of use it needs replacement.****Update 03/08/16. A company rep reached out to me and offered to replace the item or refund me. Given I had already replaced this juicer with another I opted for the refund. I appreciate the service I have received and have edited my review to include an additional star.****

No good. Sturdy enough but the halves don't fit together properly. Extracts about half the juice of a properly build citrus juicer.

By no means am I a culinary expert and I don't notice any tiny things about something as simple as a juicer. It definitely gets the job done. Decent price, I'm not familiar with other citrus juicer brands but for now this one (for its price) is my favorite one. Sure you could go more expensive but why bother? It does its job. If you want to spend more money, just buy an electric juicer.

I was surprised that a solid metal piece like this would warp, but over time, it did just that. We got a few years out of it, but expected more. Trying a different brand for next time.

It sprays citrus on my all the time but I do love the build quality.

I've had this for 3 months and used it at least twice a week to make cocktails. While it looked solid to start with, the metal handles began to flex from pressure and I could no longer clamp it down tight to get all the juice out. Shortly after the pin holding it together fell out and disappeared. I upgraded to a professional press as this is for amateurs at best.
