The watch is actually pretty nice for the price - great for kids. However, the instructions suck. First, they are obtuse. Second, you need a magnifier to read them. Third, and more important, they are for another watch.I almost sent it back, when I discovered that I really could set the watch by trial and error. Here's what I included with it when we gave it to our grandson:The instructions sent with the watch were for some other watch. I think I figured out how to work it.There are 3 buttons on the watch: Mode, Reset, and Start. (There is a fourth button, Light, which turns on the flashlight - use sparingly).The Mode button cycles you through display of the TIME, DATE, ALARM (AL on the display), DUAL TIME (DL) and STOPWATCH (ST) functions.To reset. cycle through to the function you want to reset.TIME/DATE/DUAL TIME: press Start or Reset for 3 seconds, then press Reset again but just for 1 second. The number to be adjusted will blink. By pressing Mode, the number will increase by one. If you hold Mode in, the numbers will increase rapidly. When you have the correct number, press Reset again to go to the next (E.G. - to go from hours to minutes). Once set, press Start or Reset to move to the next setting. Note: when you're in 12 hour mode, there is a very small "p" to the left of the hours to indicate pm.When in Time or Dual Time = after the time is set, either a 12H or 24H will blink, indicating it is in 12 or 24 hour mode. To change it, hold the Mode key for a couple of seconds. To exit, press Reset.ALARM: press Start or Reset for 3 seconds. Mode changes hours. Press Mode to get to minutes. Then alarm on/off blinks. Press and hold Mode to turn alarm on or off. To exit, press Mode.STOPWATCH. Press and hold Start to set the timer to zero. press Start to start timer, and again to stop it.To ser the analog watch, pull the stem out and turn it. When done, push the stem in.

My son saved up his allowance for this watch. He loves it. Yes, the face is a little big, but the band fits my 10 yr old just fine with plenty of room to grow. It may not be for younger kids due to size. It did come with English directions and was easy to program and set. Seems like good quality for the amount paid.

My son loved this watch and I like the price. Although he is a very active boy and came to me 1 1/2 months after we bought it with a broken band. I looked it over and saw that he had just pulled the band/strap off the watch and the pin was still there. I told him, no problem mine does this every now and then. So I got a little screwdriver and put it back on. Well, it didn't last another 10 mins. After further inspection, I noticed the case was made of hard plastic and not stainless steel like mine. The hole that pin goes in had wallered out on one side and it couldn't hold the strap on. Oh well, it was only $5.00. I splurged and bought him another brand for $13.00 here on Amazon that has a stainless case.

My 10 year old son loves this watch. We've ordered it twice. The first one was ruined by the swimming pool water. The second one was no longer usable after the strap broke and there was no way to repair it. We are now trying other watches.

Great watch for its price. A 10 year and older might appreciate it more. It has great features. As a trial to see if they deserve a higher quality watch, this watch is perfect for it. Who knows? They might not want to trade it in for a higher quality. It really grows on you.

Bought this as a kids watch for a 7 year old but it is way to big for him, so it went to my hubby. It is really sporty though, really like it but was not for who I intended it. Not suitable for little boys. Teens and men .....yes.

Here is the review from my 8-year old whom is the watch for.He gave it 3-star (i.e., Its okay) because the watch belt broke when his 5-year old sister accidentally stepped on it. Although it is an accident, we thought it is a bit fragile. The good news is that the all-might daddy fixed it using glue. So it still works just fine.

This is a cool looking watch with some nice features for a great price. However, with a watch face that is just over 2", it looks ridiculous on an 8yo wrist. Listing it as a "Boys or Girls Watch" is inaccurate. This is suited for a teen or man.
