Large Black Lava Rocks - 30 Lbs

Best value of rocks for the pounds here on Amazon. The rocks are huge pieces, 15 pieces and 2 or 3 were 5-8 inches long; bigger than grapefruit and softballs. These pieces were broken up to cover the area needed; however 20-30 lbs of lava rock as still needed for my 30" circular firepit. I am not sure if I would buy this again, but it is getting the job done because you can break it up to the size you want.

These are definitely large size rocks. There were about 10 pieces and they were approx 8-9". We needed them for our fire pit but they were too large and we COULD NOT break them up even with a hammer. We'll find another use for them. Good quality and fast delivery.

The rocks arrived at our door in less than a week. Pleased to get it early, disappointed that more of the rocks were not larger. Two 30lb. boxes were just enough to cover a 22" circular gas burner in a 35" fire ring. Disperses flames perfectly for a natural-looking fire.

Great bargain. Rocks are huge...about half are fist sized or larger. The smallest rock I see in the 90 lbs I received is about twice the size of an extra-large egg...say, tennis ball size. I will be able to break them into different sizes should I need to do so. They range in color from dark black to a gray-black...none are red tinted but very satisfied with the size of them, Getting ready to enjoy many nights out by the firepit!

Got about 7-8 pieces in the 6-12" sizes and then a bunch more that were in the 4" range. Overall quite pleased. Color was from black to dark grey, no reds. They will be used for aquascaping a 75 gallon aquarium. There will be plenty for that. A really nice "box of rocks" and shipping was much quicker than expected. Came in a nicely sealed cardboard box, though not packed tightly.

I've tried to order "large Lava stones" before only to get small golf ball sized. These came well packed, and were jumbo grapefruit sized. Just what we were looking for for our exterior fire pit.

It was nice to get a variety of sizes for a decent price. These look as good in our 1880's coal-burning fireplace (as fake coal covering a Moda bio-ethanol burner) as they probably did on a beach in Hawaii - or wherever they came from. :)

Far more smaller rocks than I expected.
