Sturdy and solid build and it has two height options which helps with the water drainage depending on the slack and furniture shape / size.

No strapping to secure to the table. When windy it moves about. Having to source straps. Not easy to secure as only three slots in the top.Wish I had not bought.

Ordered this product to help keep rain from puddling.Box is sturdy but not sealed. There should be 4 plastic parts to clip together.The top cone was missing from box and all other parts loose in box.Surely they should be wrapped in a single bag ?The product is expensive and now I have to return it !!!My advice is to use an upside down bucket costing less than £5

Quality and fit.

It does what it's supposed to do, and you do not need the additional straps. As other reviewers have said, you just reach underneath and put the support pole in place. Also, the pole is high enough that there is no puddling in the low spots.Update: As some of the other reviewers had said, the plastic material is kind of flimsy. I purchased two, one is working fine and the other has snapped at the joint. I guess the wind and snow were too much for it. Good idea and works as long as it isn't subjected to too much stress.It's now March, and I think that I've come up with a solution to the flimsiness of this support pole. I returned the bottom half of the umbrella pole back into the umbrella base that's under the table, and then I removed the dome section from the Adjustable Support Pole and placed it into the top of the original umbrella pole . The dome prevents the umbrella pole from punching a hole through the cover when, for example, snow is on it and, of course, it makes for a much stronger support. And, the icing on the cake is that it is impervious to wind, and so no straps are needed.

This pole is a great idea to keep water from pooling on your patio furniture. I have already used it a couple of times during some light rain storms, and it seems to work well. While there are no straps that come with the pole to hold it in place, the pole is steady and doesn't topple over when placed in the center of my table with the cover on top. However, I am not sure about the durability of the pole over time due to it's plastic construction.

This little stand is great, you can adjust the height. I use it on my flat grill so that rain wont sit on top of the cover. Works great!

Made of plastic and is not very strong. Put it under patio set cover, one day wind came and broke this stand. I have to re-enforced the base at the rod connection point and liquid nail it into place. Will wait and see how it does next time.
