EKO CORE Digital Stethoscope

Working in EMS provides less than ideal conditions for auscultation. This stethoscope is a game changer. I love being able to hear on a busy roadside or without having to turn the AC off in the ambulance. It would have 5 stars if the bell hadn't come unscrewed multiple times. Ive got an email in with EKO to see possible remedies and will update then.*Update* I spoke with customer service and they are sending me a new pediatric bell. Super easy process. They also walked me through troubleshooting it coming unscrewed. So far so good!

Love this stethoscope. I have trouble hearing in my ear and this works! Easy to pair with the app on my phone.

The digital sound amplifier works very good. Because of the covid-19 we have negative pressure air pumps in every room, and those things are noisy. İt is almost impossible to hear anything during auscultation. Eko makes it easier to detect even very subtle sounds. The only negative thing that if you want to share that sound record with a colleague for second opinion, you have to pay every month for the rest of your life. So when you buy this product, they put a leash on you. İn addition, I don't know if it's my phone's settings or not, you need earphones to relisten the recorded sounds. İt does not use phone' speaker.

I was extremely excited about this purchase, unfortunately I ended up returning this item. I tried out the stethoscope on myself and it worked beautifully. Using it at work was a completely different experience. The stethoscope would decide when it would or wouldn't function properly, to the point where I was walking around with two stethoscopes around my neck. I even had one of my coworkers try it, and she had the same experience. Very disappointed with this product.

It is a nice product. It appearance is deceptive to which way you wear the ear pieces. I put the ear pieces in backwards at first so it didn’t seem to work right, but when I got it in the right way, it worked extremely well. People have been asking questions about the charging cord. It is the same cord as a PlayStation controller. I’m very pleased and feel it was well worth the Money I spent. I’m losing my hearing somewhat and this is exactly what I’m looking for. The sound is loud and clear.

I bought this for an emergency room doctor and it was great. But it split, after less than 6 months of service. I am hoping manufacturer reads this and can tell me about warranty information. It was great, other than breaking. At time of purchase I thought I saw a warranty, but darned if I can find it now. If I hear from manufacture and they replace it, I will adjust my review upward.

Ability to record to your cellphone is very useful if you need a second opinion, or to use for educational purposes.
