I bought this to put on my infant's stroller for when I go jogging or take him out on a long car ride, and it has been a great addition! It doesn't blow too hard or too little - just the right amount of a breeze to keep my son cool. He has a tendency to sweat quite a bit when in the car seat for more than about 20 minutes, and this fan has done a great job of helping keep his temperature more normalized.I love that the blades are foam. This really helps protect baby's hands from getting scraped or cut if he accidentally flails his arms into them (which he's done multiple times and he hasn't made a peep). As far as battery life goes, I'd say I get about 8 hours or less out of 2 AA batteries. Not great, but for what it's being used for, it's invaluable. I also get comments all the time from strangers on what a smart idea this is when they see this fan clipped to my son's carseat. The best little purchase I ever did make off of Amazon!

UPDATE: I've had the fan for 3 months and it suddenly stopped working. Disappointing to only have 3 months use out of it. Due to this limited lifespan I lowered my rating.It was starting to get quite hot outside and I love taking my son on walks so I looked into purchasing a fan for his stroller. I did a bunch if research on recommendations, forums and reviews and didn't get an overwhelming sense that any fan was better than another. I felt I didn't have enough information to make a good decision so I asked my husband which he thought looked best and of the 3 I was considering he suggested this one. I'm so glad because it's a perfect fit! The fan, although it has foam blades, puts off a good amount of cool breeze - anymore and it might be too annoying to constantly blow on my newborn. It also has a fairly flexible neck so I could reposition it to face my son. I love the fan and would recommend it. I can't speak to it's longevity but otherwise, it's a good pick.

The units (2) I ordered came promptly but even the box looked a little suspicious. It was sealed with Amazon Prime black and blue tape . . . twice. The bottom layer was obviously cut and still there. Even the packing material (clear bags) were burst and just stuffed in there.Anyway, both fans weren't as pictured, the only color on either of them were the foam blades (one pink, the other baby blue). The rest of the item was white. Also, the picture denotes a blister pack, these came attached to a card with two twist ties each. Neither worked even though I tried four sets of batteries, which tested out to be charged and ready to go.Oh yeah, the neck seemed sturdy.

I use 2 of these, although often one would suffice, as stroller fans for my twins. They work great. They keep my twins cool and bug-free. Additionally, we had three storms recently that caused long power outages. These clipped to their cribs and kept my babies cool as they slept. The babies can grab the fan without any risk their fingers as the blades are foam. One of my top favorite purchases. I get ooooohs and aaaaahs from other moms.I can't believe how many people stop us in the street over these. And my now 6 month old babies like to stick their fingers in there. The foam blades don't do any harm to my pudgy-fingered, lovely babies.

I hooked this up to my spin-class bike. I extended the arm until was nearly strait-- in order to get the fan as close to my face as possible. I used it yesterday in a two-hour spin class and the batteries lasted fine for 2.5 hours (you have to get to class a half hour early to get a bike).The fan puts out a light breeze. I was wishing for more power, but it was better than nothing. It cooled and evaporated the sweat on my face enough to provide some improvement in comfort.

This fan moves a decent amount of air and the clip makes it so you can put it in a convenient place. However, this thing EATS batteries. I use this by my computer and it requires a new pair of AA batteries each day. I would say it lasts about 8 hours on one set of batteries. The neck is really stiff and hard to adjust. Also, the battery case is able to come completely off so if you accidentally lose it, you cant use your fan anymore. The fan blades are nice and soft and dont hurt your fingers.UPDATE: Its been a month or so and the fan still works, but it often makes an annoying whine while the fan is running. Its kind of annoying. This fan isnt wonderful but it gets the job done.. I dont see any better option on amazon right now anyway.UPDATE 2: The fan broke after 3 months. It was turning on and off and was somehow shorting out my batteries! I saw some small sparks and when I felt the batteries they were really hot! I hope it didnt ruin my rechargeable batteries. Im out of warranty.. throwing it in the trash. Unfortunately this is the best I can find so I feel foolish buying another one but I really need it. Ill try to be extremely gentle with this one.

Soft blades prevent injury. Good power. I use it in the refrigerator to form a pellicle on salmon that I will be smoking. Wish I had had this when I made my YouTube video about how to smoke salmon because it cuts the prep time by over an hour. As the batteries chill, the fan does run slower, but this is still a big improvement over depending on the fridge's fan to dry the salmon. The fan performs well and was delivered on time.

Would have liked to be able to choose a color rather then be a suprise (I hate pink) but otherwise great. Only issue is you have to be careful with adjusting it. After third time I adjusted the fan arm the fan part popped off hanging by inside wires. Just had to push that part back on and it stil works great. Definately a life saver on these horribly hot days.
