and that is saying a lot, as I own Nautilus 804 loudspeakers, Ultrasone Unlimited Edition 5 headphones, Marantz amps and receivers, etc - it is a contender for best overall value over the years. This is an absolutely amazing "boombox". The sound quality is great and it has mind blowing power. You truly won't believe how loud this thing can go without distorting. The battery life is also ridiculous - a few people on here have seemed disappointed in the time it lasts - honestly, it has the longest life of any battery driven product I've ever owned - can't say if it ever lasts the 24 hours that they mention in the description, but it has to be awfully close to that. Also, the bluetooth tech works really, really well - I mean, I can have my iPhone in a different room and across the house or patio - and the music continues without a hiccup - I've never seen anything so seamless (around walls even?). 100% recommendation ... I wish I owned one of these in high school or college.

I bought this to link with two Charge 5s. They put out awesome sound.I can only have one in my Bluetooth list when I want to link them. They they easily link. If they’re all in my list, my phone will bounce around between them and not properly sync.

Okay, so this is Justin and I bought this boombox and my first impressions were that first once I noticed it takes kinda long for it to start after turning it on( about 3 seconds) idk if that’s got to do with something technical or what but I don’t mind it though, and then the sound is cool and powerful, I just would prefer if the speaker’s sound had more fullness to it even at lower volume, kinda like how the charge 4 is. And then yeah battery life seems good, it died on me unexpectedly but I hadn’t charged it since receiving it so i still have to find out.. i totally rock with this speaker, nice clear, loud sound and bass is cool and powerful too. Bluetooth connects fast. All in all happy with the speaker, despite lacking some aspects for me I still give this JBL Boombox speaker a 10.0001 stars out of 10 😊

No disappointment, sounds great. Sound quality is not lost even if very loud.A little on the heavy side but perfect for any outdoor party or picnic. I would rather enjoy high-quality music than worry about portability. It will make a statement on its own when you have few people around.Definitely get it with the "divvi" case. The case quality is great and will keep your speaker well protected.Not that it needs much protection but will keep it clean during transportation for sure.

Nice unit, perfect for around the yard or hot tub soaks. Not as portable as other JBL speakers but the sound doesn’t disappoint. Pricey but given how much I use it, worth the extra money. Like buying better shoes or a better bed, I’ve found high quality in things used daily is worth the extra up-front cost!

I already love JBL, but this monster packs a punch! Its very durable sound quality is amazing plus the JBL app lets you play with the equalizer, the battery life is around 18hrs on 50% or lower any higher its more like 10…. Recharge from completely dead about 4-5 hrs.
