The quick release mounting bracket works good but the design could have been better. Instead of using a u-shape pin to lock the trolling motor in place it uses a lap joint at one end and a single pin in the back. So trying to line up the holes for the pin is best done out of the water. When inserting the pin I have to use a hammer to drive it all the way in. Then use a hammer with a driving pin to remove it. I hope they do a redesign in the future.

Installation and everything was pretty easy and straightforward. The only issue I have is putting the trolling motor back on after removal, it's very difficult to line up the hole for the locking pin. Even when lined up perfectly, I can't just push it in with my hand, I have to use a mallet to get it started which makes me nervous that I'll break it since it is plastic. This makes the design somewhat poor.

Thought it was a little too pricey but the prop on my old trolling motor was an inch shorter than my new one so I had buy it. Perfect fit & works well.

Great Item, You can mount just about any bow mount trolling motor to it. This kit includes everything to install except tools and silicone sealer! Instructions were easy to understand. 1 pin removal and it is off the boat and leaves a 1 1/2" wide 10" long by 3/4" rounded strip of white platstic on the boat. No sharp edges!!!! Kid Friendly!

Great Product. This makes mounting and un-mounting very easy. I use my little boat for fish and duck hunting. In the duck season I can get my trolling motor off in 2 minutes. Very nice option. Highly recommend.

Awesome love the product works well.

I installed this plate on my boat and motor and the first wave broke the mounting tab off of the receiver portion. It is made from starboard, a non structural material. While they offered to replace it I have no faith that it will work or that this was a defect. I would call it a poorly designed product.Do not buy if you encounter waves in your boat.
