The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season One)

Great artwork book for a Star Wars nerd such as myself.

Absolutely beautiful book! Perfect present for the fans of the show.

I'm a big fan of movie / tv art books and this is right up there with the very best of them. The book is absolutely crammed with high quality concept paintings, sketches and plans, yet is extremely well laid out and designed, making it a joy to read. Complementing the stunning images are insightful commentaries by both the artists and filmmakers who brought The Mandalorian to life, further illuminating the process of creating the visual style of the first live-action Star Wars series. I particularly liked the fact that every piece of art presented is clearly attributed to the artist who rendered it and is often accompanied by that artist's commentary on their thought process in creating it. For both Star Wars and movie art fans this stunning book is quite simply essential. Can't wait for The Art of Season 2!

I do like to buy books that show the 'Art of' the movies etc. and as I am a Star wars and artwork fan, this was a 'must buy' for my collection. It is an excellent book for all Star Wars fans alike. Lavish throughout with excellent artwork, it is a great accompaniment for the TV series as well. I like this book so much I had to by the second one for series 2. Nicely layed out with great information and well presented, but if you are thinking about buying this one (in my opinion) - you have to buy the second one to go with. Highly recommended.

I've just received this book and obviously haven't had chance to read it yet but I have flipped through the pages to look at the incredible concept art and the sketches, and i must say i'm really impressed with this book, it's more than i expected to be honest because i wasn't really expecting much in terms of writing but there is loads of it to sink your teeth into, the pages are of excellent quality which are nice and thick with a nice sheen and not flimsy like some books I've purchased in the past, can't wait to spend a few hours reading this wonderful book, if you love The Mandalorian like me then this hefty quality book will be right up your street, i can't recommend it enough ⭐

I been collecting art books for some time, but I've moved more on to Art Box of games, as I felt the movie Art books seem lacking in detail. Well that has all changed. The Mandalorian, is the best thing to happen to Star Wars since Rogue One.... and the Art Book is Amazing. The book flows, covering every episode in turn from Season One. It's by far my best Star Wars Art Book... And that's saying something, as I pretty much have every Star Wars Art book they have done. (That's including the Clones and Rebels). Worth Every penny... Don't delay get this as soon as you can..... Bring on The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian (Season Two)

The mandalorian is one of the best things to happen to star wars in years. Its doesn't sugar coat the galaxy and shows that all is not peachy after Endor and Jakku. I love the concept art as it showcases the different directions the show could have taken, and lends insight into the creative process. Only slight critique - I would have liked to see more Moff Gideon concept. I get that the look for imperial officers is very much already established, but feel a future iconic villain like Gideon deserved a little more page coverage. Still a solid 5 star book

This is most definitely the way you do an art of star wars book after the disappointing rise of Skywalker book the Mandalorian book excelles in its rich art work giving us both the wonderful end credit art and concept art with a more than enough never before seen art , nicely laid out by chapters and fantastic full one and two page art as well as smaller works this is a must have for collector of star wars book or any one who loves art of books , its vibrant ,rich colours on high quality glossy paper makes this one of the best star wars art books ever .

Se que es un libro de arte muy buscado y que está rara vez en stock. INDICAR que he puesto varias fotos que pueden contener spoilers de la Temporada 1. Dadas las pocas reseñas en castellano, intentaré dejar info de interés. El libro lo he comprado por un marketplace, me costó 45e (si, es más caro de lo que costaba en prereserva). Lo he recibido en muy buenas condiciones, en un embalaje que lo ha mantenido bien sujeto desde UK. La presentación está muy bien, en la línea de este tipo de libros de Star Wars. Tapa dura, tamaño semi-apaisado y la calidad del papel está muy bien. La calidad del dibujo es buena, contiene bocetos de todo tipo, desde los preliminares, hasta los descartados y los finales. El libro se estructura básicamente en el arte que rodea cada uno de los capítulos de LA PRIMERA TEMPORADA. No viene contenido de la segunda (ojo). Personajes, naves, planetas, ubicaciones, armas... La verdad es que está prácticamente todo lo que sale en cada capítulo. Tengo que decir que me esperaba que viniesen más imágenes de las que vienen al final de cada capítulo a doble cara y no. Vienen unas cuantas pero yo personalmente hubiera agradecido más. También de este tema decir que justamente estás imágenes no se ven tan bien como en la pantalla de la televisión. No se el motivo pero se ven más "toscas" supongo que será por los trucos y el movimiento que hacen en los créditos de la serie. Otra cosa que me ha sorprendido son los textos. Por supuesto VIENE TODO EN INGLES, da igual cual sea el vendedor. El libro solo se ha publicado en inglés. Pero me ha sorprendido la cantidad de texto. Estoy acostumbrado a libros de arte de videojuegos y este en comparación tiene muchísimo más texto. Hay comentarios de todo tipo haciendo referencias a otros títulos de las películas incluso de juguetes de vehículos ya editados por las jugueteras habituales, con esto quiero indicar que el contenido es francamente muy rico. Pero en inglés. En general es un libro genial si te ha gustado la película, considero que el hecho de estar en inglés es como siempre un fastidio gordo pero se puede disfrutar mucho solo con las imágenes y conceptos. Lo recomiendo para fans y regalo para los mismos. A ver si se puede encontrar con más facilidad y a un precio menor. Espero haberos ayudado!

El libro es maravilloso se ve cada lámina del libro es maravillosa están los storyboards de algunas escenas, el diseño de personajes, diseño de escenas todo está cada uno de ellos está hermoso vale la pena la espera y tiene un plus, su tamaño como coffee table book permite que sea apreciado de la mejor forma posible. Una joya de libro

Eu não sabia que o livro era tão grande e pesado, então foi uma surpresa positiva, pois podemos ver com bastante detalhe as artes (que são belíssimas). Realmente tem muito conteúdo extra, e é interessante ler cada detalhe sobre os armamentos, as roupas, armaduras, os alienígenas, etc. Se você é fã de arte e da série, não vai se arrepender, é muito legal entender qual foi o conceito de criação dos personagens. A única coisa que não gostei muito foi da capa de papel couché, ela é frágil, eu não sabia que ela era solta então enquanto retirava o plástico sem querer quase rasguei ela, por sorte consegui segurar a mão a tempo. Mas ao mesmo tempo, isso é legal porque ela esconde a capa verdadeira do livro, que é uma ilustração bem bonita de Nevarro.

Un très beau livre avec beaucoup d'illustrations, d'images inédites et de projets concernant les costumes et accessoires du film. A recommander pour tout fan de cette série digne de l'esprit de Star Wars.
