Perfect for enrichment and helps reduce anxiety
Great for anxious pups! We use this with yogurt and pumpkin, place in the freezer, and give to our dog before we leave the house. The quality of the mat itself is great, but it doesn't always stay in place. The size of the mat allows you to choose the size of the treat depending on how much you fill it. It's also very easy to clean. After 2 years they are holding up great, no signs of wear.

Easy to use, easy to clean
I mixed together a mashed banana, some plain yogurt, a couple of tablespoons of unsweetened peanut butter, and some pumpkin purรฉe. I mixed it until it was like a light fluffy mashed potato texture. I spread it on the mat and then put it in the freezer for a bit and suggested. My dog loved it! It keeps her busy for about 20 to 30 minutes. It also helps to keep her focused on some thing so sheโs not giving me that guilt inducing face that she has perfected when I leave the house. It was well worth the money for that alone. Iโve been reading some reviews from dog moms and dog dadโs that say that the mat gets pushed all over the place. When I put it down for my girl, I place it on a small rubber backed area rug near the back door. I find that this keeps it from moving. As you can see she loves it. Sheโs been working on this one for about a half an hour. As soon as I see that sheโs finished with it I am mediately pick it up and put it in soapy water. So she really does not get an opportunity to chew it to pieces. I wish everyoneโs for baby could enjoy it as much as mine does. I think itโs great

Good quality and works as advertised
I am pretty impressed with these. My cat is wet-food-only and has a super sensitive stomach, and yet has never recovered from being denied a constant stream of dry food so perpetually hoovers up everything edible within five minutes. Not a great combo. I got these on impulse to see if they would help and I've been pretty happy with them. They definitely do extend meal times -- normally he's done in 3-4 minutes and it takes him about 15-20 with these (less time with the orange one than the green). He does get bored eventually and stop trying for the stuff that gets stuck in the corners, which I feel a little bad about, but it HAS helped keep the mess off the floor which is great, since he has less food in his mouth at a time (and thus doesn't need to pause to spit out a giant bite onto the linoleum). They seem to be holding up well, too -- no raggedy textures to the surface, etc. The one thing that hasn't held up is how easy they are to clean. Initially I think the silicone must have had some kind of anti-food coating such that I could just rinse this thing off after a meal or soak it for like a minute and it would be ready to go. Over time that property has faded, so now I do have to soak them some and then take a soft bristled toothbrush to them. Whatever, it's not that much work I guess. They also have gotten a little wavy over time -- I don't own a dishwasher, I think it's just an artifact of storing them and then washing them. Again, not a huge deal. The hardest thing is just figuring out where to store sticky-textured silicone implements amongst my cabinets and shelving, which I'll call a win. I've been thinking about getting some more, but I think first I'll see if they continue to hold up over time to make sure it's a good investment.

Great for enrichment ๐พ
These are great! The soother really does get your dog into a zone licking it. The buddy is more a job. When I make them to freeze, they last my large dog about 15-20 minutes. The material lasts a long time. The nubs eventually come off the soother. Highly recommend for enrichment and slow feeding. They are a bit of work to clean. I use a toothbrush and dish soap after soaking them.

Not for aggressive chewers
We were so excited to read the reviews of this product and watch the videos. We thought we surely would have something to keep our husky mix entertained for a good period of time. The good news = he was engaged for about 20 minutes. The bad news = he ripped it up during that 20 minutes and we had to throw it away so he wouldn't swallow anything. So, maybe if you dog is not an aggressive chewer this may work. Otherwise, save your money. Our search continues.

Love these and so do the kids.
I got these two for shared use amongst my 20lb cocker and two very food-motivated cats. These mats have already survived a beating. The older cat and cocker like to use and are pretty gentle with them, but the other cat is only 6 months old and a beast. He aggressively chews on the nubs with his tiny needle-teeth and I have yet to see any damage on either of these mats. They've also really helped because I crate the dog for meals, but the two boys are out together eating. The younger one was scarfing down his food and stealing the older one's food. This mat prevents that because it slows him down so much. He also used to have pretty bad gas after meal times and now he doesn't. I love these things. They are about as easy to clean as you imagine they would be, but all three animals eat raw food, so when I use these I just mix in a substantial amount of water and make it a sort of gruel and mush it in. If you pick up the mats when they're finished (which I do) you can just use the sprayer head on your sink to rinse all the crap out. Then I set them flat in the sink and fill with a little soapy water, rinse, and air-dry. Works great and really no more work than using bowls because I have to clean those right after feedings too.

Love these
I use these daily to feed my high energy rescue dog. It stretches out his meal time while I enjoy my coffee. Licking is very calming for him. I recommend that you buy the base since it prevents spillage for liquids. Iโve had them for about a year and 1/2 and theyโve held up well. I replaced the mats once and have the original base. My dog does remove the mats and carry them to another room but he has not chewed on them. He constantly bit the plastic edges on the mats for tough chewers. Make sure to wash them as soon as your dog finishes eating for easy cleaning.

Great quality.
Washes up well and our dogs thoroughly enjoy the โjobโ of getting all the tasty snack! The mat is made from stable material and doesnโt slide easily.

Our dogs love them!
Our two dogs love their lickimats (that name gives me the giggles). I've used them with peanut butter, yoghurt etc plus squished blueberries into them. All good. They're easy to clean but it's better to hand wash so you can bend the mat to get them really clean. I didn't realise when I bought these that you get two different textures. Our dogs prefer the less spiky one -- I think the spiky one hurts their tongues after a while. One of the reservations I had about the mats was that they'd flip over but it's never happened yet. If your dog's a chewer, they probably wouldn't be any good.

Great distraction for pups
A good distraction. Smear it with yogurt or peanut butter. Was really helpful to us when our pup was little and needed stimulation and mental challenges almost constantly! Suction cups make it work well.
