A true heavy-duty vacuum that works very well.
This is not a lightweight cordless vacuum, but a heavy-duty commercial machine that really does an excellent job on a carpet. The very long cord is very, very handy. It is also not quiet. But the 2-year-old carpet looks and feels like new.

PROS: This vacuum sucks. Hehe. In reality it seems very well built, metal handle and roller. The cable is thick and very long. It is probably the strongest vacuum I've used; I've used commercial vacuums in my work. Hopefully it doesn't crap out. If you need something to clean carpet, this is it. Seems like it's built to last. CONS It is heavy compared to it's modern counterparts, taking it up and down stairs might be hard for some people. It won't fit under a table or couch, no attachments or hoses for corners, but the suction is great. It's pretty loud, so if you live in an apartment it's probably best to use it during the day.

Cheap toy
The refurbished product arrived one day late. There were mounting bolts which were missing and cheap plastic parts that broke upon installation I was offered a pittance for accepting the defects. This product was not worth keeping even at a discount. It is labeled commercial. The label should actually say children’s toy. The housing was made of plastic. I would run away from this product instead of buying. Please note that I did not even operate the unit, but I could tell it was very substandard upon assembly.

Missing parts.
My vacuum did not have screws to put the handle together and the piece that locks the bag down was broken. I had to buy parts right off the bat. And the handle isn't steady and the base was already put together.
