Easy to install, transforms entertainment / navigation system.
Excellent kit, has transformed the entertainment system and added many additional features, however you will have to purchase additional items to get the full potential from the unit. I added reversing camera (essential), front facing camera / dash cam, DAB+ Dongle, CarPlay dongle and ODB2 diagnostics dongle which when all added up does not make it cheap purchase. The unit works very well and is easy to install (considering the instructions are worse than useless) however there are plenty of installation tips on YouTube.

Need to purchase a fibre optic loop but great item!
Fitted to my '08 Freelander 2. Great item once up and running. No instructions at all so it is a matter of figuring it out and watching YouTube videos. There is no fibre optic loop so it does need to be purchased separately before fitting. I ordered one from eBay for £6.95 and it worked fine. Really pleased with it!

Missing parts
Good item but was missing Optic loop bypass female conector. Had to buy this separatly as this was not mentioned in the description.

The product came with parts missing, it was second hand and did not work.If you want the product brand new then buy online at the xtron official website.

Da funktioniert so einiges nicht
Ja, es ist einige Zeit her, daß ich das Gerät gekauft und mit Hilfe von YouTube eingebaut habe.Doch schon damals haben der DAB+ Dongle nicht funktioniert und auch das Radio lässt sich nicht einstellen, geschweige denn, daß es einen Ton von sich gibt.Radio kann ich also nur über das Originale Gerät empfangen und DAB+ nur über WLan des Smartphone.Achja...Stichwort Smartphone: bei einem Anruf musste ich die Bluetooth verbindung trennen, dieses Gerät nicht das Mircophone des Telefons unterstützt!Jetzt habe ich dem guten Stück ein Upgrade zukommenlassen MÜSSEN - ein externes Microphone.Und Suprise, Suprise - funktioniert auch nicht.Leider gibt es für den Land Rover Freelander 2 keine wirkliche Alternative. Somit werde ich mit dem Provisorium leben.
