My dog has protein allergies and can only eat rabbit and quail. These treats are great quality and easy to break apart. Agree with the other comments that they are expensive. I rotate them with a few other single protein rabbit treats to make them last longer.

My puppy loves these tenders, but she eats just about anything! The real test was my 3 cats, who normally turn their noses up at anything that isn't fresh fish, chomped on these treats like I was feeding them sushi! I ordered more. LOL

If you are buying Fresh Is Best Rabbit Tenders based on the photograph this company advertises on Amazon, DO NOT BE FOOLED! Look at my pictures, instead; my pictures show exactly what you get right out of the bag: FAT, FAT AND MORE FAT! I adjusted my expectations before I purchased the rabbit, because Fresh is Best Turkey Tenders have gone way DOWNHill and the orders are also nothing but bags of fat scraps. I tried to cut out what meat I could find, but it was so fatty my cat just sat there and stared at his plate with as much disbelief as I was experiencing, too! THESE FAT SCRAPS COST $30.00! A complete RIP OFF. I complained to Fresh is Best many times about the excessive fat content in their meat (chicken, tirkey and rabbit), and the owner told me, essentially, that I may not ask for anymore refunds; I complain too much; and to find another brand. My Kitty has digestive challenges and must stick to single or limited ingredient food. Fresh Is Best is the only vendor I can find that soley sells the meat - without all of the extra ingredients. Knowing freeze-drying can be inconsistent, with some batches being better than others, I ordered these Rabbit Tenders twice to give them another chance. But no; this latest order was worst than the first. Fresh Is Best is blatantly ripping people off, and the owner of Fresh Is Best says "there is nothing I can do about the fat content." I will NOT pay for these again. The sad thing is, my kitty likes rabbit (as a single ingredient), and "novel proteins" like Rabbit are good for him Oh well. I tried. Sorry my sweet Apollo; I cannot buy these again. $30 is exhorbitant!

So I've been buying these for my two cats for a few months now, they are their favorite treats and they alwaaaysss come running for them. However this last order of the rabbit tenders had some still wet not fully freeze dried peices in it that were super nasty... For 30$ I'm pretty disappointed because I felt I had to throw the whole pack out to avoid any potential issues for my cats they're still young and I don't want them to get sick... I've ordered them multiple times and never had this issue but not sure if I'd feel comfortable ordering again it's a lot of money to waste esp if it could cause problems for my babies which I'm not sure of but I'd rather be safe then sorry..

These are a good quality treats, my only complaint is that they don’t last long. Even though I keep them in the freezer to prolong the freshness, after a week my cat stops eating the pieces with more fat on them so I need to discard them and look for the pieces with muscle meat only. He has weight issues so he can’t get a lot of them (just as a reward after getting his meds) and in effect I waste half of this bag, which is a lot of money. I wish they had smaller bags for people like me but I imagine most people would rather buy bigger bags of treats. I also imagine that doggos and cats with less selective palates wouldn’t have the same problem we have.
