These are very cute little jars and come well packed; however, the twine and the labels are separated with no instructions as to how long to cut the twine - perhaps I was just supposed to cut at the loops, but this was not explained in any instructions. The twine is of poor quality and is dirty in parts with debris within the twine and it comes in a length that is folded several times, with no instructions, so one has to decide how to cut it. Also, since the ends of the twisted twine come apart easily, it is very difficult to get the twine past the tiny hole in the brown tag twice. The first time I tried to tie it in front, the label just came off right through my knot. I wound up putting the twine through the hole once, tying it once on the back of the label to what would be the right of the hole on the front of the label which seemed to be the only way the label would lie flat (there is a different texture to the front and back of the label), and then tying and knotting the string around the bottle once. While my strings were shorter than what is shown in the photo and only went around once because I am mathematically challenged and folded the string too many times before cutting it, after doing 30 of them, I think it would be extremely difficult to attempt to do what is shown in the photo and don't think it would actually work that way unless you somehow made a knot larger than the hole - and you'd have to be fairly dexterous to do so with not much length left in the twine. The hole in the labels has to be punched out - I used the pointed end of a skewer and that worked well. The cork doesn't always stay in tightly - I bought some removable clear tape to tape them down and hope that will work without gumming up the cork.

Unlike the other reviews the tops did stay on for me. I used them for m&m’s party favors. For reference the photos are showing 60 and 70 m&m’s respectively.

Can't vouch to use with liquids yet, but I do use these for seasonings I have hand ground. Works well. Thought the 30pcs meant 15 units (15 bottles and 15 cork lids) and was surprised to get 30 sets. You do have to put the tag and twine on each unit yourself which can be tedious but still fantastic buy.
