SINGER60207 Sewer's Companion Sewing Kit, ,

The kit I got wasn't this nice color pink. It was a solid dark clear orange color. Also, the clasp on it is completely different from the one in the picture. It has all of the same accessories, but they aren't the pretty pink color either. They're mostly black. The pin cushion is standard orange. I was disappointed, but I'm keeping it because I need the case. Luckily it wasn't a gift or it would go back.

I sent it back because it was too small for my needs. But it was a nice little sewing box.

I got this little sewing kit for my SIL so she'd have all her mending equipment safely together in one place. She doesn't sew much... only the occasional mending job. She has a small Singer machine, so I thought it would go well together. But I was disappointed both in the size of the sewing kit but especially the quality of it. It was just a cheap piece of plastic junk that wouldn't even open and close well. Nothing worthy of the "Singer" name. Singer should be embarrassed to be associated with it. It was very poorly made and nothing I'd give as a gift to a friend or relative.... it would be an embarrassment for me to give such a cheap piece of junk.

* it is cheaply made. Sooo cheap, it is flimsy on the closure and inside the drawer.* it is VERY difficult to take out the stickers in the front and back. One thing I dislike is companies that do not care about their products and THIS is one of them. Stay away from THIS. You might want to try toolboxes like the brand Pink Poower among many others, for suggestion.

I saw this in a store and it is the flimsiest, cheapest thing I’ve seen in awhile! Singer isn’t Singer anymore and this proves it.Please don’t buy this for yourself or anyone else, unless it’s an April Fool’s joke.

I intended to give this to my granddaughter to get her started on sewing, but it is definitely not satisfactory. The biggest problem is that the latch -- that's that pink circle thing on the front -- doesn't work. Instead of holding the box closed it just spins around. As another reviewer said, a piece of junk!
