Great for cast iron.
If you cook with cast iron pans, this is a must. Get rid of the steel wool and the trapped food. This works great and stays clean.

I wish I had gotten this years ago. The scrubber keeps my cast iron smooth and I don't have to re-season as often.

Efficient and sustainable
Love this little tool! I was using cloth with steel wool before, but the cloth eventually shredded and cut my hands. I love that this one will last forever, and for a fraction of the cost!

works well on typical cast iron fry pan
I had never seen or used one of these before. It does a good job of scouring my cast iron frying pan and rinses out very easily. I tried to use it on my cast iron grill pan which has pretty deep searing ribs and had to give up and get a steel wool scouring pad.

a great teaching prop
As a high school teacher of Anglo-Saxon epic poem "Beowulf," I have found that using this chain mail pot scrubber in the classroom is a great way to involve students in the material. Great for Cast Iron pots & pans!
I have used one of these little guys for years and would hate to be without one. They make it so much easier to remove the crusted residue from the pot/pan interior cooking surfaces, including the ridged-bottom grill pans. If you use Castiron and you try one, you will not be without one again.
