good part. lots of mod required for a Fender like nut / neck
super nice for the money. very well made and works great. put it on a cheap tele ratcaster. had to cut down quite a bit of the area around the nut. not sure it was meant for a fenderish guitar. probably my bad. anyway it works great. nice sustain improvement.

Not a bad nut
Had a neck someone really messed up the nut slot on and figured I'd try fixing it with this. I had read about the whole "rollers are backwards" thing in other reviews but figured I'd give it a shot. Mine had an end roller in the middle and the other 2 swapped for RH. Took a skinny nail and pressed out the pin with it, reordered the rollers and put the pin back in. Problem solved and the guitar plays well enough.

Backwards
String grooves are backwards. I was hoping it was a instalation problem but the groove widths are correct just depths of gloves are wrong. Good looking quality if they machined it correctly it would be nice.

Good retrofit nut for locking nut
Works great for a blocked bridged and locking nut removal replacement project. Just notice it’s width and measure your existing nut to make sure fits. Worked perfect in Ibanez 565 genesis conversion

Just ok.
I could not get this to perform very well on my super strat. So I can’t recommend it.

The string slots are... backwards?
So unless they sent me one for a lefty guitar, this thing is slotted backwards. They do go incrementally, but the larger slots are at the treble side with the thinnest ones at the bass side (on a righty guitar). I didn't notice when buying, but you can even see it in the pics if you look really closely. The spec sheet, however, clearly shows them in the proper position. UNLESS, of course, I'm looking to install it backwards, and if that's the case, this thing's even worse, because doing so would drastically change the scale. Bottom line: I'd return this piece of garbage if i didn't buy it for a build back in October, and only tried to install it today. Guess that one's on me. Oh well.
