Had to trim about a 1/4 inch off each side so it would not rub against the tires

I needed one of these for my 21" Craftsman push mower. Fit perfect, no cutting or trimming needed. It is actually thicker & heavier than I was expecting.

Original? Fits okay but just a touch too big. It will work fine though.

Good and sturdy. Only issue was it is a bit too long between the rear wheels so it hits the wheels. But since it's rubber I just trimmed a small amount off each end and it works fine.

This part is exactly the same as the OEM part that came with my Craftsman 917 series mower.

I was surprised to find this available for purchase. I don't know how many years Craftsman made mowers with this style of rear guard, but mine's about 20 years old. The part fit perfectly and was easy to install.

This was shown to be the direct replacement for the Sears Craftsman part but needs to be cut to fit.

Cheap plastic. Original piece was rubber. It is very lightweight and stays under the mower when you pull backwards then forward.
