Great stuff!
This is the best cissus currently on the market. I have tried others and none can really compare. I have tried the other "bulk" powders sold on Amazon and elsewhere and none were as good. Some were not even actually cissus.Primaforce is a quality company founded by guys who are into bodybuilding and fitness themselves. Their reputation in the industry speaks for itself. I trust these guys.As for the cissus itself, it tastes horrible, but I have an iron stomach and my taste buds have sampled worse things than this powder. If you can not deal with bad tasting things, go for the caps. I am cheap and like powders.I take 2 grams of this stuff divided into 2 doses. That is 1 gram 2 times a day. Once in the morning, once in the evening. You can take this on an empty stomach or with food. On an empty stomach, it may help the stomach lining heal. In India, they use cissus to treat ulcers and gastritis. This stuff helps me with my general aches and pains, especially as I get older and continue to take bumps on the road. There is also a lot of evidence that cissus can help maintain and even increase bone density. This is really important for women who are susceptible to osteoporosis.Try this stuff out,but be warned, it may not work overnight. It takes a couple days, even weeks. This jar will last you 50 days at 2 doses a day, that should be enough time for you to gauge if it is effective or not.My only complaint is the price fluctuates a lot. Right now as I write this review, it is $12.99, a very fair price, I have purchased it for as high as $19.99. Please keep it $12.99!!!!

Helps greatly with joint pain.
Before purchasing the powder I was using cissus in caplet form. I noticed a slight improvement with the caplets but taking so many pills (glucosamine, probiotic etc) got annoying. Since switching to the powder I noticed it to be more effective. I'm not sure if it's the powder (less fillers?) or when I am taking it but I'm sure glad it's happening. I tend to take a scoop ~3 times a day. I try to disguise the taste in protein shakes, pre-workout and post workout drinks. The taste isn't too bad but be prepared, it's bitter and earthy. I also think taking it directly before and after my workout has help with the effectiveness of the cissus, as apposed to once in the AM and PM.For reference, I'm 40 with a right hip replacement and a severely arthritic knee among other aches and pains. I work out 5/6 times a week, three of which are with a trainer.

Product is good, powder form? Not so much.
Cissus has worked well for me in the past. It definitely reduces recovery times, helps build muscle mass, prevents fat gain, and improves joint health. However, I would really recommend getting the capsules.I have tried mixing the powder with a number of different substances of varying consistencies: from protein shakes to yogurt. The results were...less than desirable. The stuff doesn't exactly taste great. It's not absolutely horrible, but it's pretty bad. With liquids, the majority of the powder always stays on the bottom of the drink, and the rest of it infects the drink with the terrible taste of cissus quadrangularis. With semi-solids (such as yogurt), it does not mix very well. I was able to stomach it by sandwiching the powder between large clumps of yogurt and swallowing the clump hole. However, I still tasted it somewhat. So, I ended up ordering some gel capsules to put the powder in. The price of this product and the gel capsules, plus shipping, wound up being about the same price as the cissus capsules (around $30).

Capsules are better but this will do
I've relied on this herb for its anti-inflammatory effects for several years, and it works very well. Primaforce is a dependable, quality provider. I usually use capsules, which have been unavailable for a few months, so I tried the powder. It tastes awful and is so fine great care must be taken to prevent inhalation and spills, but it is effective and will see me through until the capsules are again available. Quick, smooth transaction and I just ordered more from this seller.

Amazing!
I've had knee problems for the past 7+ years. I had believed it was patellar tendonitis, but it seems that lately it's become more of something to do with the cartilage cushioning my kneecap (ie chondromalacia?), so I figured I'd give this a shot. It's only been a week, and I'm already experiencing significantly less pain in my knees! I've tried so many other things: glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, All Flex, and nothing has worked like this. Now, the powder smells like iced tea mix, but it does not taste like it! I couldn't stand the taste, so I bought some gelatin capsules to put the powder in and that has worked much better for me.As an added bonus, I have found that my appetite is decreased! I love this stuff!

Tastes bad, doesn't do anything
I bought this because I was desperate to recover from some injuries. I looked up some research and couldn't find any reputable sources, but still bought it. I used nearly the entire bottle and noticed no changes. I then began physical therapy and had a lot of amazing changes for the better. The Cissus didn't do anything for me and the taste/smell reminds me of tobacco. Definitely wouldn't buy this again.

Works great, but tastes terrible
First off I tried the capsule version of these when I thought I had a small tibula stress fracture developing and it went away (probably just shin splints, but better safe than sorry). Now I am recovering from a single level C6-C7 neck fusion and utilizing this along with calcium to improve bone growth. X-rays taken two week and six weeks post surgery show rapid bone development.I made the switch to the powder in a cost saving move, it tastes terrible even blended in with protein smoothies. Luckily I have a quick cap capsule making tool, that does 50 capsules at a time. I capped 100 750mg capsules and still have plenty of powder left.I recommend either capping this or buying the capsules
