I love this Seat belt. I have a mini schnauzer that is all over inside the car. Now I can drive with ease and know that my dog Ace is safe and secure in his belt. I really like the seatbelt and it works as advertised but the problem is that the one I received only extends to 21 inches and not the 27 inches as stated in the listing. This is too short for my dog and he is forced to always be lying down which is not the experience I want for him.

The hook detaches from the seat belt without any effort at all. I buckled my dog in and within two minutes he was climbing into the front seat. Then I realized the hook just slid out from the leash. I put it back in *as easily as it came out* and realized it would be no use because any movement from my dog and the hook would detach from the leash. Fail and returned.

After a close incident, I decide to see if this would help keep her from sliding into the front during a hard brake. It works fantastic, and she actually likes getting buckled in like the kids.

The "metal" clasp is cheap plastic and would never protect a pet in the case of an accident. Please do not waste your money on this.
