Another good story
I really liked Jordan when we met her in earlier stories. The town of Oak Creek has been blaming Jordan for her father's crimes against them. She is involved in a horrible accident - her fault but still an accident, yet the town treats her even worse. Enter Gabriel. Jordan works for his sister but doesn't trust Jordan until he sees for himself what life in this town is like for her. He begins to get involved and the story continues.

An Emotional Read
I’ve read most of the series and this one really hit me. One of my favorite stories - you can’t help but feel for Jordan and I love that she is quietly strong but very vulnerable at the same time and Gabriel is the perfect match.

Loving this characters in this series!
Heartwarming connections, sexy attractions and exciting turmoil! With the next book in her Linear Tactical series, Janie Crouch brings familiar characters back to help pave Jordan's way back into town. Violet's brother isn't happy she's working with this woman who seems to be a so unpopular around town, so he sets out to find out what she's up to. He comes to learn that she's been dealt a lot in her young life, and realizes she truly just wants to make amends ... but people don't seem ready to agree based on the continual threats and abuse she keeps facing. Really enjoyed their story!Jordan Reiss has returned to Oak Creek, Wyoming after doing 6 years in prison for the horrible mistake she made. She knows the town hates her. Not only for her own doings, but also because her dad swindled so many of the townsfolk out of their life savings before he skipped town years ago. She doesn't expect them to forgive her, but she hopes she can lay low enough to be able to peacefully co-exist because she's really missed her home.Former Navy SEAL Gabriel Collingwood isn't sure what Jordan has done to swindle his sister Violet into hiring her to work at her bakery, but he's going to make it good and clear that he has his eyes on her and isn't going to let her get away with hurting his sister. Little does he now that he's the least of her worries until he shows up time and time again to proof of how much she's being put through by people around her. He doesn't trust her, but he's not going to let people continue to hurt her for something she wasn't even responsible for. When the danger seems to step up, he makes it his duty to protect her ... and as attraction continues to flare up between them, fighting it eventually feels futile.

Angel
WOW! I felt so bad for Jordan throughout the first half of this book. She went through hell but still tried to survive. She is strong survivor. So happy that the man she thought was her dad was not. Gabe wanted to hate Jordan but he was enthralled with her. He saw potential in her and then discovered he loved her but he still had trust issues. The town finally figured out that Jordan was not to blame for that guy who she thought of as her father. Glad he was arrested for all kinds of crimes. The town came together to rebuild Jordan's house and Gabe proposed. Now these two are going to be partners in every sense of the word. Jordan finally gets her happily ever after. FANTASTIC job Janie! I would recommend this book.

Love and Redemption
This story about Jordan Reiss, the town outcast, is heartbreakingly beautiful. She was in the shadows of the first book in the series and from the beginning, I was drawn to her. She is so strong to have survived going to jail for six years for a tragic accident. She paid her dues for her crime but not upon returning to her home town she is also paying for her father's sins. This story was a bit different from the others in the series in that she didn't take classes in self-defense. She is intelligent, hardworking, loyal, and well sweet. She doesn't deserve the treatment she gets from the town she lives in. She hasn't had it easy but she has survived. She is such a strong character and Ms. Crouch did a wonderful job of making this reader feel for Jordan and root enthusiastically for a happy ending for her. This one tore at my heartstrings. I wanted to jump into the pages and shake the townspeople awake.Former Navy SEAL Gabriel Collingwood just might be the man to bring her a happy ever after at least until big trouble finds her and he assumes that based on the facts, she is guilty. He can be very abrasive but he can also be her guardian angel. He saves her in the end but I also think that is some ways she saved him. She sacrificed herself for her friends and when Gabriel realizes that it was almost too late to save their relationship.

Loved it
This book certainly pulled at my heartstrings.Jordan has been living in oak creek in her mother’s old house after being released from prison after a tragic accident. The town has ostracised her because of misdemeanours by her father. She starts working at a local bakery and the owners brother Gabe isn’t happy. As gabe gets to know Jordan he sees her for the frightened lonely girl hat she is and vows to protect her, but gene a face from Jordan’s past comes back gabe will need a lot of faith to get them through.Toward the end of the book I just felt so bad for Jordan and just wanted somebody to have a bit of faith in her and stop thinking the worst. She’s been given just an awful hand in life and she wanted to make up for things that she had no control over or weren’t her doing.Gabe got given a few more chances than he should have and I just wanted to give him a clout round the head at some points and I was also just wanting Jordan to trust in someone.Definitly enjoyed and would recommend

Angel: Linear Tactical (4)
Yet another excellent book in this series. They call him Angel cos his name is Gabriel. Jordan is hated by everyone in town, her dad swindled a large part of the town then disappeared. She fell asleep when driving, killing a woman & child, went to prison for 6 yrs. Now she back, there is nowhere else she can goSue P

Head over heels in love
Another great story from Jamie Crouch about embezzlement and intrigue. Gabriel started off by being wary of Jordan but after a while realised she was just what he was looking for.

Read the series in order.
When I read the first chapter of this book I felt like I had come in on the middle of the story....and I had. Great book great story but you have to read the other three first. The introduction of the two main characters started in the previous book. But absolutly a great series. I had to read Angel twice because I needed to fit it into the right catagory.
