Do not be mistaken, this is not a full size spool. This is a BFS reel. And as that it feels great. You can still hold plenty of line on it to make a cast. I would only stick to braid on this reel just for the spool size. I promise you this does not feel like a 39 dollar reel. This feels like more like closer to 70 to 100 dollars. And its great they can get away with a cheap price cause they do not go thru shops to sell, they only sell straight to consumer. You can tell alot of engineering went into their new Spark line. Love to see Piscifun grow like they are. The red and black is a great look. I was thinking the red would be too bright but it definitely is not.

This is a great smooth reel. Feels like a $150 reel . I throw weightless lizard and worms with no problems. Will definitely buy again

Just received reel. Have not used it yet. Very nice looking reel. Operates smoothly. Lightweight, as advertised. Spool rattles when shaken. Reel seat is a two piece affair, as shown in photo. Time will tell how satisfied I will be with it’s overall functionality....

An 8.1 GR BFS reel for $40? Ya this is gonna break in days, too cheap to be any good....... Put it on a MLF rod and tied my homemade 1/8oz skirted crappie jig and off to testing. Holy crap, it works! It works well, feels amazing, and boy can it cast. 30+ yds on 1/8? Check. Clean retrieve? Check. Nasty drag for the trophy slabs? Check. Very impressed by this reel so far. Bought it cuz I saw it on Kuphall's boat at Guntersville when he blasted the field. Good enough for him, good enough for me. He's a pro, I'm not. Would be devastatingly effective for flipping medium cover I believe, based on the specs and what I know it does well. For short porching frogs or as a heavier BFS reel, it just wows me. Ordering 2 more: OG will be for BFS, 6.6 for frogs, and the new 8.1 for flipping. Nice find. Bought a PFun years ago and the difference is amazing. Way to step up. Easily competes w/$100 range reels.

Solo que tiene un problema la tapa que trae donde se encuentra el freno está atorada ya trate de abrirlo y es imposible lograr quitar la tapa

This reel is a great buy! I purchased this and anotherL handed reel for my son at same time. Both were alike only different manufacturers/sellers. My sons has gaps n the body/spool allowing the line to fall back n there, the cast button don’t catch every time either But my picsafun 8:1 works wonderful. It is well built, tight and was under $40. I’m even sending my sons $46 reel back and ordering him a spark as well

Light weight and works flawlessly. Almost as good as my Curado. I purchased this and put it on a dobyns rod for senkos. Caught alot of bass with that setup.

Loved the reel, but it stopped reeling after using it approx. 5 times while I had a fish on the line.Cheaply made product.

First time I’ve ever owned a baitcaster. Took me a while to get used to it but now I’ve got it down pat with braided line and it casts a mile, super smooth and fantastic construction. I’ll buy more in the future.

What a great reel for jigging the Detroit River very lite and strong caught over 75 fish with it

This reel was able to handle a 15-20 pound koho salmon, not too bad the only thing I would say is the bearing are a bit lower quality because I fell and the reel got wet and it started squeaking the day after
