It's a keeper!
I like that I can easily control the amount of stretch & walk across the room while wearing it.I don't like the rough, raised, stitched hem on the leg strap. I quickly became irritating. The green microfiber cloth in my picture was placed between the strap and my skin. That's a simple temporary solution.

Trouble with comfort
I tried night splints in the past with a brace on the back of the foot, but I was not able to get enough flex. I read that dorsal splints work better so I gave this a try even though it cost quite a bit more than other splints. I've worn it about a week now but it has been very difficult to get used to it. I have two primary problems. The first is the heel opening. I'm not sure why they put it there. I find that the elastic around the opening cuts into my Achilles tendon after wearing it a few hours. I usually wake up and have to pull the opening down on the back so it doesn't cut into the back of my heel. It's like wearing a tight elastic band around your heel for hours. I also found that I have to wear socks with this device because the entire thing is uncomfortable without padding. The second issue is that the upward flex on the toe causes me toe pain after about 6 hours. Be aware that it's hard to have your toes in a flexed position for hours on end. The toe flex is adjustable and usually I end up completely loosening the toe strap on the end. I had no trouble sleeping with my old splints but this one wakes me up a lot. Usually I pull it off at about 5 or 6 in the morning because it really starts to bother me. I ordered a size Large (I'm a men's 11). My plantar fasciitis is somewhat better but I seem to be chronic. Night splits help a lot of people but I'm probably one of that 10% that can't seem to improve. I'll keep wearing it and see what happens.

Plantar Fasciitis - Works ok but not very comfortable for me
I started with the BraceAbility night sock which lifted my toes ok but put a lot of pressure on the tips of my toes which was very uncomfortable. I then purchased a StricklyStability night sock which was better but it keep loosening over night. I then tried the Aircast Dorsal night split. It kept my toes pulled up (not as far as i want) but i found it very uncomfortable particularly at the Achilles tendon area as per other reviews. I tried many things and got it better but not satisfactory. Also i found it uncomfortable on the top of my foot. I cut out some material on the device which improved it but eventually went back to my StricklyStability night sock but with home-made modifications which i am happy with. I put some silicone caulk on the inside of the top of the sock which grips my leg such that it doesnt loosen at night. It is difficult to wear a device lifting your toes while sleeping and have it be comfortable. Everyone is different and you might have different experiences but these are mine and i hope it is helpful for you.

After single night Achilles pain almost gone!
Looking at reviews I was skeptical. My orthopedic surgeon recommended this for some chronic Achilles’ tendon issues. I figure just another contraption that was not going to relieve my pain. Finally decided since I can no longer do things I use to to try this. I was stupid for waiting. In one night use my pain to stand was cut in half. I could walk down stairs like a normal person without feeling like nails being driven into my heels. So fat beat thing I have done to relieve my ailment. Suggest reading the instructions not just look at the pictures!! I read yes read. Comprehended then applied the splint. It was not terribly uncomfortable and slept just fine with it. I will update my review if this changes.

VERY UNCOMFORTABLE AFTER 30 MINUTES
I WAS ALL EXCITED TO ORDER THIS AND RECEIVE IT. I TRIED IT THE FIRST NIGHT AND EACH NIGHT AFTER FOR A WEEK OR SO, BUT IT NEVER GOT BETTER. I STOPPED WEARING IT BECAUSE I COULDN'T WARE IT FOR MORE THAN A HOUR. I COULDN'T EVEN FALL A SLEEP WITH IT ON.

Unfortunately the product is so tight around the heel my husband can't make use of it at all even loosened as far as it would go. This is the correct size also and not too small. The elastic around the heel is just too strong.

ben progettato tuttavia ...

Facile l'utilizzo.
