Ripped within owning for one month
I have never really been a slippers guy. Since I started working from home and rarely leaving my house, I figured slippers may be a move. I dreamed of the perfect comfort - warmth - support balance that everyone looks for in their first adult slipper purchase. I spent countless hours looking for just the right pair, something that looks cozy yet somehow has some form of professionalism. Slippers that would look nice if my children’s friends saw me wearing them. I don’t have kids yet, but would like to have some at some point. Eventually my search came to an end, as I thought I had found the perfect slipper. The mukluk sagg slipper. I ordered them, and awaited their arrival nervously as I had never had adult slippers at this point of my life. They arrived, I wore them for the first day and they nailed the warmth aspect I was looking for. Not too warm that my feet are sweaty, making the insides gross, but not too cold to wear I would prefer to be wearing shoes in my home whilst working. To say the least, the temperature of these slippers was great. However, I did wish that they fit a little more snug around my foot. I wanted a foot high, like the hug you give your high school best friend that you haven’t seen in a long time and you are so excited to once again catch-up. But instead got the foot hug of the grandmother who is in a wheelchair, too old to remember what she had for breakfast let alone your name. Your mom tells you to give her a hug and kiss before you leave the nursing home to only return a month later. Not a loose hug, but not firm as her bones are fragile. Essentially just wrapping around enough to qualify as a hug. Like the hug that you nervously give your crush at the middle school dance, right after you watch her dance with your friend, Ian, but you want to act like you were just friends anyway and didn’t really mind. Just not the foot hug that I was dreaming of.And lastly, the tag tore off of the heel of the right slipper. I’m not exactly sure that it is the right slipper, I am pretty sure they could be worn on either foot, but I have been wearing this particular slipper on my right foot. The tag ripping off is no big deal, right? Nobody wants that tag there anyways, right? WRONG! Kind of a dumb question but I will forgive it for now. Apparently the structural integrity of this slipper relies on the tag. I wish this slight damage could be looked past and this slipper could still be worn with pride, like the crack in the liberty bell, but the slipper falls apart more and more every day, like the city of Philadelphia. All in all: I would give the slipper an 8/10. But considering the tag fell off and is now falling apart, I am taking off a point, and I am taking off another point because I still think about my friend Ian dancing with my crush at the middle school dance to give this pair of slippers a 6/10. Which results in a 3/5 stars (that’s basic math, you could do it too)

Warm and comfy!!!!
Cold feet suck!! These slippers offer comfort and that little extra warmth without a sock. They are light weight, soft soled, and you can slip them on and off easily. The higher top on the slipper is definitely a plus. Be sure to buy your regular shoe size. No need to oversize (providing manufacturer doesn't change its materials). Guy or girl might consider these a nice warm slipper.

The bottom is stiff, the boot is soft and nice
These are very comforting on my cold toes, bringing warmth to them. The soles are on the stiff side though. Too soon for me to comment on their durability but photos by other reviewers don’t look favorable. Time will tell however, as the life of the soles might vary from user to user. Seriously though, I don’t like the look or feel of them out of the package. The boot portion that surrounds the foot is absolutely comfortable and warm wool and nylon I believe. I don’t remember exactly, that part is comfortable though. As for the fit, it depends on the actual size of your feet. I would say the large size would likely be okay for a size twelve but expect a tight fit.Size eleven to eleven and a half, which is my foot size will likely find these quite comfortable.Be advised that if you have cats, for example that cats just LOVE to play with balls of yarn, for example. I mention this with apprehension and disdain because I removed my brand new mucklucks from the soft plastic bag they came in and placed them on the floor until I was ready to put them on.I had not yet even had them on my feet. When I went to put them on, I couldn’t find one of them. I couldn’t find it because one of my cats had been playing with it- and tore into it some rendering it looking a bit torn and unacceptable looking.I can still wear them, I am unhappy about it being ripped up like it is but it was salvageable. The point is to be vigilant and keep them a safe distance from cats and possibly small dogs if you want them fully intact from inception to inevitable demise because, as in my case, the cat tore into it for me.I would have preferred if that hadn’t happened. It didn’t exactly make my day bright. I hope this helps.

Order these slippers again
They are like double-lined wool mittens for my feet. First time I got them, even with a tiny hole in one of the uppers, after I tried them on, I wasn’t giving them up. In fact, I ordered a second pair. The floors in my home are just a little cold and drafty in the winter time. So these are definitely helping to keep my feet and ankles warm. I like them very much.

Runs small, very cheaply made
These and not the mukluks of old. They're cheaply constructed and run small. If you ever wear them anywhere but on carpeting, they'll wear our. The soles are incredibly thin leatherette.

Christmas gift
These slippers were purchased as a Christmas gift so the only rating I can give is they look good, as advertised.

Keep my feet warm and off the cold floor.
Nice oatmeal color. Large men's size. Keep my feet warm and off the cold tile floor.

They only danced one season
Bought these in November and only wore them indoors on carpeted floor and already they have worn through on the bottom. You can see what I mean in the attached images.Despite being size 14, they ran a little small for me. I usually wear size 14 runners but these slippers needed a good bit of stretching to feel comfortable. As others have mentioned, they look like two identical sides and not left and right. I assume that saves a few cents in production costs. They are reasonably warm and quiet on all kinds of floors but it's a shame that I'll have to throw them away come spring. Not sure I'd pay over $30 for them again though.

Poor Quality - Significant wear and holes after less than 2 months
Although these slippers are comfortable, they are terrible quality, so don't waste your money on this product. After less than 2 months of wear, the soles have completely worn out in the toes, and the back of one slipper has a big hole from where the tag attaches. Very disappointed!

I'm not sure what I expected, but these are the least impressive footwear
They seem to be designed to wear on either foot, given that they are as uncomfortable whichever foot they are on. The sole is flat and appear to be made of cheap vinyl (rather than the advertised leather) with no indication of footedness. I would be aghast it this sole is leather. The flimsy sole would probably last several minutes or even maybe hours of indoor use on carpet. I imagine the sole would self-shred into countless pieces at the prospect of venturing outside in them. And, just to make sure they are completely uncomfortable, the join between the sole and knitted upper creates a bulging join that rubs against you toes. The knitted part seems okay, but in context these muk muks are pretty hopeless.I couldn't be bothered trying to return them. Hopefully my loss is your gain - just don't bother. I can't imaging who might find these comfortable. No doubt undiscovered Amazonian tribes have more comfortable and effective foot wear than these things. The Amazon listing tells us that muk-luks have been around since 1972!!! They had great drugs in the '70s, but I can't explain why people might have liked them since. Given that these are made in Asia, I can only imagine the poor exploited factory worker who is embarrassed to tell their family that they make these things to earn their $2 a week. Cheap and nasty.

Really comfy but...
If you are too hot to wear Ugg - but you want something more than flip flops for the colder months, this slippers are perfect for you! Wool is extremely breathable but warm at the same time, perfect to wear at homeSole seems quite delicate - not for going out - I'm curious to see how long they will last..I bought size 14US / 13AU (I usually wear 12 or 13 AU) and I was excpecting them a bit bigger - but perfect for me.
