A Coloring Book for Knitters Paperback – December 9, 2015

Yahoo! I was extremely excited to obtain a KNITTING adult coloring book and it's indeed one for knitters. While it will still be enjoyed and I love the idea.. it really does seem more for children as it's cartoon-ish. I was expecting a more realistic, polished book of graphics/drawings/doodles. Honestly I likely would not have bought it had I seen any of the pages prior for this price.Mind you, this doesn't diminish the great idea and I thank you Kay and Ann for producing it but the price doesn't match the more higher end adult coloring book offerings out there with a lower price.

Love! It's so satisfying when two hobbies aligned with each other. These are single-side pages that are drawn in bold lines. I wish the paper was a heavier weight. It was disappointing that there weren't more knit patterns to color. It was more knitting scenes than knitted items.

Very cute images! However, the paper is very thin and low quality that they are printed on. It's frustrating to try to do any sort of blending! Frustrated that I'm actually considering copying them on to a better quality paper before coloring. You can see how the pigments don't adhere correctly in the photo (used Prismacolor pencils and baby oil).

I purchased this coloring book for a friend of mine that likes to knit. The designs are ok... The thing that I like most about it is that it combines knitting and coloring.

As a knitting adult, coloring in this fun book has been a great way to unwind and feel creative without any stress whatsoever. I hope the adult coloring book phase continues, and I hope there are more offerings like this one. Non-knitting adults who enjoy coloring are also likely to enjoy this book.

I love this book! They really get what knitting looks and feels like. It's a great way to try out color combinations without swatching. I highly recommend it to all knitters for those times when we're too tired to knit but don't want to quit. Great fun!

I tend to like coloring more intricate designs but this one has some of those.

Ich stricke sehr gerne und hab letztes Jahr die Malbücher für Erwachsenen für mich entdeckt, die helfen super wenn man nicht einschlafen kann.Natürlich musste ich dieses Buch dann haben, der Preis war aber schon stattlich, allerdings habe ich schon einige schöne Malbücher zu Hause und die waren jedes Mal ihr Geld wert.Dieses hier ist leider eine ziemliche Enttäuschung. Die Motive sind irgendwie schnell hingeschmiert, wirken lieblos und so, als hätte sich jemand einfach in kürzester Zeit ein paar Motive zu einem vorgegebenen Thema einfallen lassen müssen. Sie bieten für eine erwachsene Frau auch nicht wirklich eine Herausforderung von den Motiven.Das Papier ist von minderer Qualität und insgesamt ist es eher ein Heft als ein Mal-Buch. Es ist einfach überteuert.Aus dem Thema hätte man wesentlich mehr machen können.Ich habe das Heft nun eine Weile zu Hause, hatte aber noch keine Lust ein Motiv auszumalen. Alle meine anderen Malbücher sind interessanter.

As a knitter I was very disappointed in this book....the drawings were somewhat amateur and some seemed to have little yarn or knitting in them. Some items were missing patterns ( like the two "identical" mittens). I have started a few of them and I'm easily bored. I was hoping to see baskets of yarn or realistic looking knitted items. I should have returned it. Paid too much.

meine freie Zeit werde ich wohl eher nicht oft mit Ausmalen von Wollknäueln etc. verbringen, aber bei Bedarf sorgt dieses einfache hübsche Malbuch für die erforderliche Ruhe und Muße maulender gelangweilter Mitmenschlein, die gerne beim Stricken zusehen, aber niemals selbst zu den Nadeln greifen würden. Die friedlich entspannte Atmosphäre verbreitet sich auch bei diesem Umgang mit Farbe, Form und Faser ... egal ob wollig oder papieren
