Measured Drawings of Shaker Furniture and Woodenware

Basically a pretty good effort, but still lacking in a number of areas. Still, worth the money.

All in all it's a good book although it contains of the drawings as the first book.But it covers some of the larger pieces of furniture I was interested in.Wh at surprised me is both books I bought don't contain any Hall Tree drawings.

If you like to browse technical books and read them by section (in "fits & spurts"), you'll apprecaite one of the other shaker books more. But if you are a Shaker student or really serious about building authentic Shaker pieces, you'll be happy to add this book to your library.

Gave this to a friend and he is now making Shaker furniture.

I like the simplicity and strength in Shaker design. This book has drawings that can be applied, not just some numbers and lines on a page.

An update and review of his first three books, with selected sample included. They vary from simple benches to tables, candle stands, and cabinets.john (:>)))

Great book with detailed drawings. Saving the Shaker tradition. Because of Handberg's work the work of the Shakers will be saved for all of us.

Very much like other books that I own, but a nice cover larger format and a joy to own. Liked it very much..

Accurate drawings and good history a must have for any chair maker who intend to produce authentic items of any value.If you wish me to review any more purchases, please do not stipulate the number of words I will decide thank you or I won't bother to review.
