Charges well, but the LED on the charging adapter is always "on". This is different from the way the Microsoft charger works, which is better. The MS charger only turns on if there is 1) power to the charger, and 2) the charger is connected to the Surface Pro 3.But this charger's LED turns on whether or not there is a connection to the computer. Not as good a system.

Fine guage wire broke inside connector
This product worked for approximately 6 months before it failing. The wires from the converter to the adapter are a very fine guage and one of the broke inside the connector for the Surface Pro 3. I was very surprised to see how the two wires from the adapter were just soldered to the connector board with no strain relief. Very easy to understand why it broke. As others have indicated, you get what you pay for.

Died after less than a month
The charger quit working after less than a month. I should have just bought an OEM charger to begin with. You get what you pay for.
