RagoWomen's Light Shaping Capri Pant

So after some trial end error, I decided to go with the Light Shaping in a Small. I am 5'7, 155 lbs, and I am a solid Medium in most everything. I generally wear capris shapers under pantsuits and capris during the summer to smooth things out so that I can still wear strappy sandals and not look lumpy. My other brand stopped making them so I was on the hunt for a new brand. That said, I bought the medium size in all 3 shapers: light, medium, firm Rago styles. The fabric in the firm was rough and scratchy. I thought it would actually be nice because it had a nice lace pattern to it, but it was AWFUL! So back it went. The medium control shaping (in medium size) was pretty good. I'm keeping it, but the fabric is too heavy for summer wear. The light shaper (these) in a size medium was too "light" control wise. The fabric is very stretchy, so I ordered a small and it actually fits nicer than expected. I wanted a bit more control in my shaper so for me, it worked best to size down.

Took a chance spending a little more than I wanted. When i opened the package I said uh oh. No way this is going on. It fits perfectly. Waist sits where it should in front and back. Crotch is right where it should be. The capri length bottom is not too tight on my ample calfs. It smooths and holds without me turning blue. It is lightweight but does the job beautifully.

3-stars for the produce, 4-stars for easy return. This is a fine product that just didn't work for me. The issues I had with it were 1) The color is too yellow. I have an pale "olive" complexion so the photo looks perfect but it is more yellow in person. 2) The sheen of the fabric is pretty but, by bouncing the light, it accentuates leg dimples which is the opposite of my purpose in buying them, 3) the elastic hem is too tight and bit into my calf. It worked okay worn just below the knee though there was a little gathering of the fabric.In general, it fit as expected. The fabric is not especially breathable, I don't think I would chose it for warm days or athletics, but it is lightweight (thin but not "cheap").

These are comfortable and provides good support

My initial review of this item was not a good one. I have since revisited my "issues" with this product.1. It fits according to the size chart.2. It is Very Light support. (no support, but it does smooth with exception to the diamond shape if you wear something tight.3. It is comfortable!4. I love that it comes below the knee. Doesn't show the "hem" line on my pants.5. This is my go to for jeans and sweats.

Love how they fit and look...this is my second pair...I’ve lost considerable weight and went from XL to L...unfortunately, the material doesn’t last...the elastic threads start to break down after a couple months. I also think they need more tummy control. Always looking for something better...but these do the job for now.

Meh......I love the fabric because it allows all my clothes to slide right over them (why is it SO hard to find shapewear in fabrics that don't just bunch up and "catch" on your clothing??!?) but the fit is awkward. The length is too short to truly be a capri - I'm only 5'4" and they hit right below my knees which means that after I've worn them for an hour or so, they are actually sliding up and getting all bunched right behind my kneecaps. And the waist rolls too, yuk. They are just uncomfortable...... I just wanted some smoothing so my regular fit was fine but if you want more compression, I'd suggest sizing down.

The only problem I have with this is they're too tight on the knee. I cut them a lil and it helped..a lil.

Disliked - band cuts into chins, could have been smooth.- buy 2 sizes smaller than their chartLiked - nice material, gives a smooth outline. Would buy again.

These Capri shapers are good quality and feel silky however they are larger than I would have liked.

This is not 100% cotton as described, it's 85% nylon and 15% spandex.
