Emile Henry0.6 Qt. Cheese Baker | Burgundy

I have now used my new Emile Henry cheese roaster to make & serve roasted Brie. Fun and a tasty appetizer. I actually bought this dish to use for cooking or reheating one or two servings of a side dish. It does the job and looks good doing it.

We are empty nesters. This is a great size for baked cheese appetizers (elegant presentation), artisan bread for two, or just for baking or reheating smaller portions. Love the red color too.

This works as advertised, and the burgundy is a rich color. The domed cover, unlike the flat cover on so many bakers, is a great feature - allows for larger cheese wheels and more toppings. Durability seems good, no chipping or any other issues. Dishwasher safe, but can also be easily cleaned by hand.

I've bought my mom - who is an unbelievably gifted baker - a collection of Emile Henry. All in red. She commented on a brie baker that I had. Mine is not nearly as nice. When I found this EH baker, I knew she'd love it. And she did. It's well thought and the same incredible quality you can expect from EH. Are there cheaper brie bakers out there? Yes. Operative word, cheaper. If you like to entertain and serve warm cheese, this is your dish. And then you can start your own EH collection like my mom has...

My first one had an oblong lid. This one is well fitted and what a beautiful color!Although there is a tiny bump on the inside ridge of the lid, it's on the inside, and does not seem to affect the fit. I can hardly wait to serve guests with this baker!

There is something about Emile Henry (the Burgundian clay) that just makes dishes bake better than other baking dishes and this new cheese baker is no exception. It’s a nice cheese baker but also large enough to use to bake other hors d’ouvers too...I’ve used it for roasting garlic heads in olive oil, scampi etc.

Great new "toy" for entertaining! I've used it for brie topped with honey mustard. Only complaint is the instruction booklet, which was not very helpful and lacks suggestions. Thus the three stars. Very easy to clean.

I think the product is well made and has a good name attached to it , however I think it’s vastly over priced for what it actually is.
