It is a lot easier on my hands.
I do a lot of cutting up of boxes before I recycle (live in a rural location and have my cat food shipped). I like using a box cutter but usually have to stop a lot or adjust my grip to avoid overworking my hands and wrist. I love this ergonomic grip, it stays comfortable for me to use over much longer periods of time. I'm very pleased. I like the device used to tighten or loosen the blade to slide it. Rather than having to pry open some kind of lever or bar to unlock the blade area, you simply rotate the wheel to loosen or tighten the screw, as desired. It is a LOT easier on my hands.

Love these blades and the extra storage the handle provides! Great for cutting foamcore for my Photoshop and InDesign class. Great weight too.

It cuts great, replaces blade easily, and it is purdy purple. Now if they had a purple clip on I would be set.
