Absolute Garbage
The flashlight came in fast, I used it one time and it got extremely hot to where it could burn my hand. After that the only setting that worked was the medium brightness. Threw it away, Absolute Garbage

Lightweight, cost-effective & BRIGHT!
Lightweight, cost-effective & BRIGHT!I coupled this cheap little light with the Ade angled keymod light mount and Presto!''' For what others pay hundreds of dollars for, I've paid $30 combined and couldn't be happier! Would reccomend for sure.

So disappointed!
I bought this product less than two months ago and the batteries have already died. It worked perfectly for about two weeks and had 3 levels of brightness. I noticed that after only two weeks there was only one level of brightness and it wasn’t nearly as bright as the first. If I could return it for a refund I would. So disappointed!

Gets too hot to use.
Don't know if I just got a lemon but this gets way too hot to use for any sort of extended period of time. I bought it for my daughter at school as they wanted the kids to have a flashlight to use to read by as a fun activity. The teacher sent this flashlight home with my daughter after the first use as it was so hot - surely that's a safety hazard?

700 lumens, small package, why spend more.
Very happy with this product.. seems durable and includes 2 lithium El123 batteries worth $5.88 alone upping the value. The high mode is 700 lumens it's a wide throw non focused lens haven't used it in the yard yet. Love how low mode is just right for moving around the room/campsite without waking everyone. Only con is that it dosen't include a lanyard, there is a gap on the tail cap for one. Kinda wide body for EDC pocket cary.Have set a few pics for size comparison.. just buy one great light for the $$ yeah u can spend more.. but why this just works.

Fantastic little light!
I recently picked up the 1200 lumen version of the Energizer, my review is here on Amazon. I was so impressed with it that I went home and bought the entire product line. I own a lot of high-end flashlights, not less than two dozen in fact. Surefire, Streamlight, Monster, you name it and I own at least several of any quality manufacturers lights. But I was positively amazed at the Energizer lights. I thought they would be a throw-away piece of junk, not going to lie. I couldn't believe it. The entire line produces the MOST clean, evenly dispersed light I have EVER seen in a flashlight. I guarantee you will be happy with whatever option you pick. This little guy is fantastic for a pocket light, produces some respectable lumens, and offsets some of the flaws in its larger cousins. Unlike the rest of the line, this one is a plastic body with far more grip texturing, a lanyard hole, and a great little clip. But it is the quality of the light that truly floored me, especially in a light at this low of a price point. You will love it, and you'll end up buying them all like I did. Don't say I didn't warn you. :)

Too big for tactical carry
At this price point it's hard to complain. Excellent build quality and super bright. It does have a momentary-on function for real tactical use. However, two things brought this review down from a five to a three star review. 1. The button combo to get the strobe function is basically impossible, so don't plan on ever using it. 2. The tail-cap on this thing is ridiculously oversized for a CR123-powered tac-light. At 1.25" in diameter it won't fit in any of my tac-light holsters, which is a BIG fail. I'm not sure who has thumbs this big, but it sure ain't me. Overall, the rest of the light is perfectly sized and weighted to be a great EDC tac-light, but unfortunately the ginormous tail-cap ruins the whole thing. It's also too big to be carried in a pocket or on your belt using the included spring clip. At less than $20 I was eager to try this tac-light , but unfortunately, because of the design, it's now just a $20 paperweight. If you want an EDC tac-light that fits in your leather or Kydex carrier, or even fits in a pocket without making you look like you have a perpetual chubby, this ain't your light.

Reliable
So far this flashlight has lasted for me. Most flashlights with smart switches don't last In my pocket daily. They normally act like they have corrosion build up and don't want to turn on. This flashlight don't have that problem. It puts out a more yellowish color like a standard halogen bulb. I wasn't impressed at first but it seems so much brighter and easier to see things while searching at night. The cooler color from other lights seem to just brighten things but this more natural light is awesome. The strobe is a little fast so it should come with a seizure warning. I do not use the strobe. . The light is bright enough to use in medium or low mode which i recommend. With 123 chargeable batteries it drains fast compared to the batteries it comes with.

Better torches available at this price point.
Well constructed but you can’t adjust the beam which lets it down badly.

Very bright, well built, wish light outputs were more gradual - EDIT
I bought this because I wanted a flashlight that used 123 battery cells as I have a box of them sitting around with no other use for them. The max output mode is plenty bright, but the run time is short on it, well under 2 hours so I bought it planning on using it in medium most of the time. Using MAX only occasionally when needed.Too bad there was no detailed description like you get with the other flashlights I have purchased where they tell you the various modes output lumen and run time... This one had no such description. Now that I have it I must admit I'm a bit disappointed that the medium mode is about 25% of the the light output of max and low is maybe at best 10%at first sight I was disappointed in this light variance, but on the job, I find that the second setting is still plenty bright to do most of my work and I even use the low often when I am doing close up work, so I was off-put at first, but it turns out it's exactly what I needed! All that said, the build quality is very good, It comes with a belt clip, but no laniard.following having used it for a number of jobs, I can safely say now that I'm very happy with it!Hint: I've learned using it for a while now that it always turns on in the max setting, so if you plan on using it in medium or low, the trick is to push the power button just enough for it to turn on without locking the button into place, then release and repeat until you get to the level or mode you want and when you are there continue to push the button all the way in until it locks! Way easier and probably will help the switch last longer than to be clicking it on and off a few times every time you want to use it!Let me know if this was helpful!

Battery Monster...no rechargeable CR123 available for this version.
What I liked: TAC-700 is bright! Works as described.Disliked, it a battery pit! There are no CR123 rechargeable batteries available for this. Standard CR123 (CR123a, correct type name & same thing) are 3 volts per battery. This same size rechargeable version, is only available (RCR123) in 3.6v or 3.7v.This voltage would potentially permanently damage de LED/blow it! No way to know or find out, because actual specification of the flashlight is not available. I strongly do not recommend trying it! Unless someone has already and it works, and should share the info here.Lesson learned the hard way and I don't recommend these flashlights at all...“Not efficient and definitely not environmentally friendly”However, there is the rechargeable version, which I would definitely recommend instead of the non-rechargeable version...BUT how long does the battery actually last...hopefully better than using reg batteries...Energizer, you can do better! Environmentally & more efficient battery replacement designs! This version is designed to consume/buy more non environmental batteries...

Real Nice Flashlight But Poor Belt Clip
I ordered this flashlight for hunting with and I like to carry my light on my belt. Unfortunately it didn't take long to learn that the clip for a belt on this light is a very poor design and it doesn't take any pressure to knock the light out of the clip. You could easily loose the light without even knowing it. It is a good quality light and I do like it; although I need to practice more to move from one mode to another. I would not recommend this to anyone who might rely on carrying this on a belt.

Look elsewhere
Garbage. Sent it back immediately. Paid a little extra and went with a pelican.
