Great!
I got this early and it’s a really good pack, some of them were dry but all I had to do was shake it a small bit and it was fine! I enjoy this purchase and the markers were very great. I love how I can keep them in a bag and not loose them.

Love the selection of markers! Both my daughter and I haven’t had any issues and enjoy using them daily!

Definitely a great beginner set
Please note this original review was written 7-16-2020, after having received them 6-29-2020, and will be updated as deemed necessary.Recently a friend sent me “Bloody Alphabet” a coloring book of serial killers. I have tried several times over the last seven years to take up coloring for stress relief, but it had always caused more stress than it relieved. First, I purchased some colored pencils, colored a page and time flew! Next I purchased a few coloring pages on Etsy and a small set of alcohol markers not wanting to overwhelm myself with colors. Well, I was frustrated I couldn’t find the color I wanted. Enter this gem.... now notice once again I am technically a beginner at not only these markers BUT coloring again as my school days are further behind me than the years I spent there.166 colors (168 minus black and colorless blender)! Did I know I needed 30 shades of grey? NO. Do I need 30 shades of grey? Yes!!!!Also, did I NEED seven new coloring books? I’m gonna stick with YES! (I recommend checking out swearing coloring books if you are an adult wanting to relieve stress and Dapper Animals and Sweet Things no matter who you are, also check out Jess Illustrates on Etsy)As with anything there have been pros and cons and I will do my best to point them out for you.PROS:- Number of colors- Colors are labeled with numbers AND names (other companies DO NOT do this)- These pens come in an awesome carrying bag with holders for pens- Most colors worked out of the bag with NO issues- After 4-12 hours of use a day these markers are still as magical as day one for the most part- You can’t really beat the price point- You can test to see if you will even like alcohol markers and the way they work with a ‘full set’ so you can work with all colors for blending and shading- Amazon backs this product!- Fun for the family! While yes, they are ‘permanent’ with a little rubbing alcohol clean up is a breeze. I actually am able to make a mess with these on myself (and with alcohol ink itself, for other art projects) and by the time I pack up my mess and do a load of dishes you cannot tell I was covered in marker. I’ve even let the ink set in for 12 hours and only had a little ring around the nail bed of one finger.- You don’t necessarily have to purchase one of the SUPER EXPENSIVE “marker papers”, I have yet to do so and am happy with my vellum cardstock I also purchased here on Amazon. Prior to receiving that I was using cardstock I had leftover in a drawer that was unlabeled so I’m not sure what kind it was but it also worked well.CONS:- It’s frustrating that colors are NOT in groups- Color names can be confusing (#75 is labeled Dark Blue Light and #77 is labeled Pale Blue, both are a light purple)- The holders only hold the bottom of the pens and they are actually 5 separate holders which need to be rearranged to give a great hold. Also these pens should NOT be stored up and down so if you’re gonna store in this bag, you will need to store on its side (how pens to be stored to not dry out) and getting the holders to hold the pens is VERY difficult. Since I have furry feline helpers, I tend to keep the whole bag stored in a box which keeps it more secure.- A few of the colors were dry and needed some TLC to work properly, some are still not giving it there all. These pens have been shaken stored up and down to send more fluid to the tip(s) that we’re dry and are ‘worked’ daily by drawing circles on a blank page- Some tips are fraying already, which IS disappointing, BUT I have some markers of more expensive brands that have done the same thing- BE CAREFUL of what type of media you are using! Alcohol markers are not like other markers, they spread/bleed and dry quickly.Advice -Each time you change medium type (this also includes types and sometimes brands of paper) make a color chart AND color swatches for color comparison. Avery cardstock may not be made the same way as GP’s even if everything looks the same. Cardstock is not going to color the same as ANY OTHER medium. Glass and ceramic aren’t the same and so on. With so many colors, this can seem like a huge hassle. I currently am keeping my media selections to ceramic, cardstock and experimenting with a canvas bag (this take A LOT of prep as to not harm markers and am using the first sets of markers I purchased that these replaced due to not having enough color selections). And TBH, if I had the money I would have a separate set for each.I have a ‘page’ with all of the color names listed with their numbers. Then for each type of media I have each color listed on a piece of that media (so I have a piece of card stock with the numbers listed) and a sample of that color. I’m also in the process of making swatches of each color category, like you’d see at a paint store.Take your time learning your new markers, these don’t react the way others do and by that I mean even other brands. You will find dabbing, or dotting, May work best for some things. Your chisel tip may work better in small spots than your bullet tip. I also recommend a set of fine liners, so far my ultra fine tip sharpies work best after trying FIVE different sets of fine liners.Have fun and color on, my friends!

Disappointed
I’m very upset when I opened the box and then opened the bag of markers they were All over the place and some didn’t have the caps on and I spent a lot of money for that to be happening

Nice markers
Nice markers, but some of them were dried out at one end, but fine at the other end. I've used my set a lot. Love the color selection.
