This is not the real Sophie!! I ordered 2 for both of my babies.. they are both fake!! when my child sucks on them the colors come off in her mouth!!!

I figured I'd save what, like 30 cents, by buying the older edition in the red box. It arrived today and it barely squeeks and seems to have a physical squeeker inside.We originally had the one from the brown box that we bought at target and it worked perfectly, our baby loved it! But we left it out one day and our pup got ahold of it. The poor giraffe passed later that night. The funeral was horrible. We were all in tears.I went on Amazon to get Sophie the second for the Baby-Saurus, I figured both boxes held the same model, but they don't. You really want the brown box one. Trust this internet stranger on this. The build quality and shape and material is all the same however, so there's nothing bad about the red box variant, just doesn't squeek as well, unfortunately that was a major entertainment factor for our baby so it's less interesting to the monster now.

First off it smelled bad, I put it away. But later my daughter found it and kept chewing on the head. In the matter of minutes the paint came off!!! Its definitely a FAKE! DON'T BUY!!!

Wtf? This teether is supposed to be the best of best. Less than a months worth of my 6 month old using his Sophie Giraffe, and she is splitting at the seams!I cared for her carefully per the instructions. So bummed cause my kiddo really loved her the short time she lasted. I’m out of $24 plus tax for less than a months use.Maybe I got a defective Sophie?

My son 5 months old (no teeth) played a little with it, and I see it tear in the place of a seam.

BABY CRACK, this is pure baby crack. I have 4 kids. I used to think it was CRAZY for people to spend $20+ on a giraffe toy yet on my 4th, my 3 month old baby, I decided to splurge and go for it. He's teething and has no toys so I bought the giraffe and OH MY GOD! He love love loves it, he chews on it, licks it, and won't let it go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Don’t buy anything through this amazon affiliate. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6 month old niece. My family did Christmas early this year (today, December 17th) and when I went to wrap this gift I noticed the box was already ripped open. Upon further inspection, I noticed dirt on the nose and a hair on the body. My Christmas gift for my little baby niece is ruined, and it’s too late to replace. What kind of idiot would put that in a box to ship when it’s so obvious it’s been played with. I can’t give some dirty toy to a baby. My only saving grace is that she is a BABY, and won’t know that she didn’t get a gift, but it’s still very frustrating.

Sophie is absolutely darling, we've bought this product many times before for expecting parents and it's always a hit. Sophie is great for all the reasons stated in other reviews and the product details; but I'd suggest leaving a note on your order asking that the delivery isn't left somewhere that the packaging might be damaged, especially if you're planning on gifting it. The box is a delicate matte finish that perfectly suits Sophie's texture and design, but unfortunately, our box was crammed into our mailbox and there were a few bends, dents and a rip. In no way did this damage the toy, but the box isn't as presentable as I'd like for a gift, it gives it a slightly second-hand quality which is not preferable when you're giving something a baby might put in its mouth. Over-all Sophie is a win! But if your deliveries are routinely placed in a small mail box or even dropped over a wall consider leaving a request!!

Le compre al enano la famosa jirafa sofi "La sofi" llegue y le hice entrega me quede flipando, ya que automaticamente cogio y empezo a devorarla cual tiburon blanco. Me quede sorprendido ya que muchas veces todo lo nuevo lo mria durante un rato lo manusea y luego a la boca pues anda la sofi casi peirde una pata.PROS:Es suave suave.Un olor a goma agradable como a talco a goma antigua.Puede morder la cabeza el cuello o las patas XD.llama al atenciond el bebe al menos del mio.Mejorable:El packaging no viene en español.Segun veo por internet hay que lavarlo con cuidado si le entra agua cria hongos.Compra 9/10Dale a útil si te pareció útil ya que me anima a seguir redactando opiniones de todo lo que compro.

My daughter is 7 months old and we are on Sophie number 3. Pictures included are two different Sophie's. Contacted the company and they are more than willing to send a replacement and very responsive customer service. However, for a toy that is THE must have teether, its just not up to scratch. Baby doesn't even have teeth yet, but two have split. If she didn't love it so much I would just bin it and give up. Looking for alternatives - Matchstick monkeys definitely seem more robust! Its a little harder than Sophie, which is why my daughter likes to switch between them depending on how much her gums are bothering her.In short, I wouldn't bother with Sophie. Get something better, just because its popular doesn't mean its good!

My baby teethed very early at 3 months and Sophie Giraffe has been an utter God send! It regularly my first thought in the morning-where is Sophie giraffe! He finds Sophie easy hold, manoeuvre and chew! We tried a few other products and this is by far the best by far.

It's not the original Sophie. Amazon are generating a refund for me. I had one before but lost it so chose this as a replacement. I knew straight away there was something not right about it but assumed it was ok as the packaging was genuine and there are a few 'versions' of Sophie.However, after only a few days I noticed the colour fading and now a few weeks later it's actually torn. I'm really disappointed as my baby loves Sophie.

Comprato per assecondare l'isteria di mia moglie, che consigliata dalle amiche DOVEVA PER FORZA comprare anche lei questo pupazzetto, neanche fosse l'unico degno di essere mordicchiato dalle gengivine dei bimbi.. Pupazzetto che mi stava profondamente antipatico, non perchè particolarmente brutto (è anzi piuttosto bellino), ma perchè stufo di vedere giraffine ovunque, e di contribuire a ingigantire l'isteria del gruppetto di amiche di mia moglie. Ma mi sono ricreduto: il prodotto è subito piaciuto al piccolo, è fatto bene, è facilmente impugnabile, e in definitiva fa egregiamente il suo lavoro: essere mordicchiato e risultare antipaticamente utile.
