150' LED Rope Light Warm White & Cool White (Cool White)

I've had these lights hung up around the perimeter of my house since 2016 and I put them on an automatic timer so that they turn on EVERY DAY when it's dark and stay on until morning. Every night. They've been lighting up my house for 4 years solid, and have not dimmed. Still nice and bright. Like, literally, all night. Can you imagine leaving a light on all night, every night for 4 years straight? So, yeah, I've definitely had them long enough to vouch for their quality and durability. (One thing I CAN'T vouch for is any of the sellers selling these, because I bought them 4 years ago and they've probably changed sellers many times since then. sorry)Speaking of that, the reason I remembered to come and write a review on these is because some of my OTHER lights have recently dimmed SIGNIFICANTLY. Both the dead set and the set on this listing were installed same time, mar 2016. I'm having to buy more lights to replace the other brand of lights that failed. They're all no-name brands, so I can't help by saying which brand to not buy, sorry...Also, I bought these when they were a killer deal; about 30 cents a foot. Try to buy (any) rope lights now, they're like a dollar a foot.(this is a real review. It was NOT a freebie from the seller. I paid for it)

UPDATE: We did in fact receive a defective product. The seller was great at helping us. We received a replacement and the Cool White lights are just beautiful. We used them in our landscape curbing and I am so pleased. I am so happy, not with just the added aesthetics but also the added security these lights provide. Surplus Lighting provided amazing customer service. Thank you so much!!!Original: My purchase of the 150' LED Rope Cool White Lights started our great, but then went downhill fast. First, the fast shipping was awesome! Second, straight out of the box, one end was assembled and ready to go after cutting to size. Full of elation, we moved on to do the next strand - and that's when it all went downhill. No matter what we did - cut, inspect, change plugs, change fuses, change outlets, over and over, even watched tutorials just to make sure we weren't overlooking something, all to no avail. We could not get another strand to work and now we don't have enough rope. After giving up, thinking to ourselves we'll just order another set, now we find that the price has increased. Grrr!!! I am not feeling very confident in placing a reorder.

Purchased these lights a few weeks back when it was $20 cheaper. When they ship to your house rolled up they are all lit up and nice. Once I started unrolling them, some sections started to flicker and completely blow out. DO NOT Buy for this price. You will wind up sending them back. Fact is I'm too lazy and was able to hide the outage parts where light wasn't needed anyway. The quality of this product is garbage. But if u manage to use the lights without making them blow out, then you got lucky. I personally would NOT buy them for this price. As a matter of fact I wouldn't have purchased them at all if I'd known the quality was that bad. (Note: The wires inside the rope look like they're rusted in some parts. Which would probably explain the outages as you start to apply the lights to where you want to set them up)

Absolutely love the ease and ability of these rope lights to be cut to length. Also attaching new electrical plugs to a section of rope light is REALLY easy if you need to make different length ropes for different areas. I bought additional 2-wire connectors elsewhere and made about 8 different rope light lengths to be used in light trays, above cabinets, etc. One thing to note is that the cool white color will look quite blue which is great if that is the look you are going for but I chose the warm white and it worked best with the LED lights I already had elsewhere in the house.

This product arrived one day after placing the order! Came with 3 extra sets of power cords and accessories so I can make up to four separate strings of lights if I want. Quality of the light rope and accessories seems to be quite good. Lights are bright and clear and will be using to light up a sidewalk path outdoors. I am now thinking of ordering some additional colors from this same seller to use as Christmas decorating lights outdoors I am that pleased with the quality and the seller.

After 3 months the product does not function properly and the WYZ Works simply says the return period has passed. So, I am out $75!! I purchased this product on March 23rd and strung the lights around the perimeter of my yard and set them on a dusk to dawn timer. Initially, the lights were great. The backyard had a low-level light during the darkness and we were able to see our small dog whenever she was out at night. After 3 months to the day, multiple sections suddenly seemed to be burnt out..and as of last evening more than 1/2 the LEDs do not light up! I was hoping for a replacement string of lights, not an email indicating my "TOUGH LUCK!"

These are the best rope lights around and a great price!! All of ours worked the first time in the full length!! And the angle of the light since it was such a large area we didn't have to manipulate the rope to get the best beam!!

Great when turned on. Still trying to figure out how to install extendedengths after cutting.
