This stuff is amazing - it works great. Let me explain. So I had emailed my doctor when my baby was about 2 weeks old- because the cord had fallen off and there was pus coming out with quite a bit of blood. Doctor sent me sort of a general what to do article that didn't really tell me anything new --just the 'keep it clean and come in if it's bleeding excessively' advice. I didn't want to use alcohol because I heard that was outdated way to do it, and water didn't seem enough. I was worried it was infected or getting infected and the diaper or clothes or a blanket would rub on it and it would start bleeding again. I did a quick search and ordered this stuff on Amazon Prime to come the next day. I got it and immediately started dabbing it on the belly button with a q-tip at each diaper change. Very very quickly the pus went away, the bleeding declined rapidly until it was basically gone and the whole thing dried up and cleaned up fast. In 1 week my baby had a perfect belly button. I had barely used much of it too because you need so little. I was so happy and relieved, even my mom was like "wow good job taking care of that!" It smells a bit bitter like you'd expect of a bitter herb and you have to be careful not to spill it - because it has a staining effect - other than that I highly recommend this as a must-have post-partum item to have in your supply.

We began using Wish Garden Cord Care because my baby still had his umbilical cord even at 6 weeks of birth. It just wouldn't fall off! The doctor insisted on us leaving it alone until it fell off on its own, but this was taking way too long. He said to not use alcohol either. He would say, "Just clean it daily with water and make sure it is dry." It turns out that alcohol slows down healing, at least that's what the doctor would tell us. I decided to research what else could be done if I couldn't use alcohol. And that's when I found this little powder! I am so, so glad to have found this little powder because it ended up helping a ton. Just by sprinkling a little powder at each diaper change, the cord finally fell off! Heads up! Since the powder is composed of herbs that are of a mustard color, it stained some of the baby's clothes. It also has an odd odor, but it didn't make the baby smell. You may want to use something to cover that area. My mom suggested a belt like they used to use from back in the days and a cottonball. Besides that, it's a WIN in my book!

This is the best herbal product on the planet. Originally bought it for newborn cord care (worked great for that) many years ago, but discovered many healing uses for it and it is my secret weapon for unwanted raised mole removal! I have removed multiple raised moles with this product including some that had annoyed me my entire life. It takes continued application and removal of the dried skin layers between daily applications which may not be for the faint of heart, but leaves no scar and works great with a little patience- 3 days to 3 weeks depending on mole and diligence in peeling off dried layers.

I ordered this product and the odor improved after just one application. After just 24 hours and 5 applications his cord had dried up and fell off. He has a cute dry little belly button now at only 8 days old. I would definitely recommend this product!

This stuffs amazing. My baby ended up with the freezes where his hips join his groin area rubbed red and raw. Very bright red and painful. I us3d some of this by rubbing some on the red areas gently and leaving it on for a day then when I washed it off the red rash was GONE! It also help3d to heal the redness after his umbilical cord fell off.

It kept my son's umbilical cord area clean and dry. However my son's stump did not fall off until almost three weeks. After doing some research the thickness may play a part in the time frame it may take for it to fall off. I recommend this product based on how dry and clean it kept my sons umbilical cord area.

Cord was dry and gone in no time. The only 2 things I didn't like 1) too expensive (You get 100x more than what you need to justify the cost. A tiny paper envelope for a $1 would've been better. 2) doesn't smell very nice. However, worked great!
