Beautiful knife!! Sheath does not measure up. The belt loop wasn't attached to the sheath. The holes were there, but the rivet was gone. That said. I didn't buy a sheath I bought a knife, and a high-quality knife is what I received. I recommend Helle knives without any reservation. I fixed the sheath no problem. Don't know where the rivet went, wasn't in the packaging.

This is an excellent knife. The handle feels great in the hand and is beautiful to look at. Helle blades are simply the sharpest blades in the business and the Alden is no exception. The sheath is well made and really goes well with the knife. It is a very good looking package. The blade shaves wood easily and holds its edge with no problem. It shaves hair right out of the box. I have never purchased a Helle knife that did not come super sharp and I have about a dozen Helle knives. I can't say that about other brands, I recently paid a big price for a Fallkniven A1 knife that was not as sharp as others I own and I have not been able to get it any sharper. I have never had that problem with Helle knives.

I would rate it 10 if I could. At first I was scared to use it because it was sooo pretty. After hiking and camping and abusing it, I really appreciate the quality of this knife. Very strong handle and blade. Holds an edge like no other knife I've ever owned, and it's Super sharp right out of the box. Great size, well made, and beautiful knife.

Nice balance and great feel in hand. I collect Helle knives and this is one of my favorites.

This is by far the best knife I’ve ever owned. It’s light, easy to use and a delight to carry. It was a universal tool during my adventures in Alaska, so much so I bought one for a friend as a parting gift. Please note it’s extremely important to care for your blades, and I made sure to regularly clean mine to protect them.

Nice birch handle. Finish is fine for a knife, haven't ever seen a Helle in person so I don't know how good the finish is supposed to be though

I'm a 6'4" man with big hands. I wanted a nice knife from Scandinavia so though this should be perfect! This knife is beautifully built and SHARP but the handle is quite short, only 3 and 1/2 fingers fit on the handle and then to use the knife becomes dangerous because of the lack of a guard and very sharp blade...afraid in real world use a finger would slip to the blade. SOOO as much as I like the Scandinavian design, quality build, and sharp blade - this knife is useless to me. Very disappointed.

Aus der riesigen Auswahl an verschiedenen Modellen habe ich mich für dieses Outdoormesser entschieden und bin absolut begeistert. Schon beim ersten Auspacken fällt der wunderschöne Holzgriff ins Auge, der nicht nur optisch ein Highlight ist, sondern auch durch eine hervorragende Ergonomie besticht. Das Messer liegt extrem sicher und natürlich in der Hand, was gerade bei längeren Arbeiten im Freien entscheidend ist. Die Klinge ist ein technisches Meisterwerk: Der extrem schöne und glatte Schliff weist bereits ab Werk eine beeindruckende Schärfe auf, die man bei Serienmessern selten findet. Das hochwertige Klingenmaterial ist nicht nur rostfrei, sondern auch überaus schnitthaltig. Ich verwende das Messer primär zum Aufbrechen von Wild, und hier zeigt sich die wahre Qualität – es gleitet mühelos durch das Gewebe und verliert auch nach mehreren Einsätzen nicht an Biss. Auch die mitgelieferte Lederscheide ist erstklassig verarbeitet. Das Messer sitzt darin absolut fest und sicher, sodass man keine Sorge haben muss, es im Unterholz zu verlieren. Dank der stabilen Gürtelschlaufe lässt es sich zudem komfortabel führen. Ein authentisches Stück Norwegen, das jeden Cent wert ist!

Bellissimo oggetto curato nei particolari.

Magnifique couteau en bois de bouleau, fabriqué main en Norvège. La lame (Sandvik 12c27) de 3mm traverse littéralement le manche, signe de qualité indéniable. Le fourreau est en cuir et de tres bonne qualité. Un couteau magnifique sans aucun default. Un grand couteau pour une très grande marque ! Prix intéressant et livraison rapide.
